[APP][Pro] Xiaomi Mi Home App

Thank you very much!

It works well. Although it did disconnect once but I re-added it and now works again.

If it fails I´ll let you know. Thank you!

I see some reports on that, but can’t really influence it from my end.

You are welcome, btw, you did not sent the debug log as I requested.

How can I do that?

Hi @Sharkys

I have a Xiaomi Smart Home Hub 2 with 5 LYWSD03MMC temperature/humidity sensors connected. However, I can’t add the gateway to Homey. It looks like the instructions are only for an older gateway/app version. Is it possible to add the Hub 2 to Homey as well?

Thanks!

This isn’t supported.

Try with my other app, Xiaomi Miija | Homey

Hi,

I already tried the Mijia app, but that doesn’t discover all sensors. Probably because of Homey’s BLE range, since only the sensors that are far away have issues connecting to Homey.

I think I’ll stick with the Xiaomi mobile app then. Thanks for your effort!

If you don’t have Homey Bridge, which acts as BLE repeater, that probably the best thing is to get those converted to Zigbee, assuming you have Zigbee repeaters (non battery powered devices) - but that’s OT for this thread.

My Homey Pro 2019 doesn’t support Satelllite Mode, so I can’t use Homey Bridges with Satellite Mode

Does that break the Xiaomi Home mobile app functionality? If it does, then converting is not an option (my family members also use the Xiaomi app for monitoring the temperatures).

I did perform a port scan but there are no opened ports so I think the hub doesn’t use regular MiIO protocols.

Hi, i was wondering on how to add my Xiaomi Mi Pro H AirPurifiers. I tried with every device listed in the air purifier section. I have the IP Addresses and the tokens for my devices but I can not add them. When I click on Test connection it says that handshake failed because of timeout. Do the air filters need to be in the same IP segment as homey?

For sure first start with TEST version (didn’t have time to release to production yet, as some people do not respond after reporting some issue) - Xiaomi Mi Home | Homey

Not neccesarily but there must be connectivity between Homey and given Xiaomi devices. Eg. you can test the IP reachabilities using NetScan app.

NetScan app says IP is reachable. I tried also to connect via homeassistant and noticed that local connections seem not to work. Is it possible that Xiaomi locked my devices for local communication or did they maybe change the protocol?

Feature Request: Support for Xiaomi Smart Pet Food Feeder 2 (xiaomi.feeder.iv2001)

Hi!

I’m a big fan of your Xiaomi Homey app, and I’m writing to request support for the Xiaomi Smart Pet Food Feeder 2(model: xiaomi.feeder.iv2001).

I currently have this device integrated via Homebridge (MiOT plugin), where I’ve successfully exposed the following properties:

  • FoodLevelStatus

  • FoodWeight

Unfortunately, the existing feeder support in your app (which works for the 1st gen) is limited. Currently, it only shows a “Normal” status, and there is no information about food weight or battery levels.

Could you please consider adding native support for the Feeder 2? I am happy to provide any logs or device capability data you might need to implement this.

For reference, here is the device spec info:

  • Model: xiaomi.feeder.iv2001

  • Key properties to expose: FoodLevelStatus and FoodWeight (measured in grams).

Thank you for your hard work and for keeping the app updated!

Best regards, Zsolt

Unfortunately the latest Test version included some support but it’s currently broken as majority of functions are available via Cloud only, more over also having this integration in HA, I see similar extremely limited functionality… I’m actually considering to remove it completely, this device is really not intended on getting locally exposed data, sorry for that

"Hi!
Thank you for your honest feedback and for looking into this. It’s disappointing to hear that Xiaomi is restricting local access to such an extent, but I completely understand your position. Given the limitations and the current state of the API for this specific model (iv2001), I’ve decided to move on and let it go.
I really appreciate all the hard work you put into the app regardless. Thank you for your time and help!
Best regards, Zsolt

Any chance of getting support for “Smart Standing Circulation Fan” (I think it’s this one: All Specs, Features of Mi Smart Standing Fan 2 | Xiaomi)

I’ve tried the five fans included, but even though they all can connect with the IP and token, none of them work.

I get errors such as these:

For the first one, I seem to be able to turn it on, but then it goes straight to “Device Unavailable”, and there’s no option to set features such as natural wind, speed, direction or anything.

Thanks!

Please follow this : [APP][Pro] Xiaomi Mi Home App and also please be sure you are on latest TEST version prior submitting request.
