The app works fine says Athom. I say it doesn’t. You can try to add another issue.
Just sent another issue report - sensors are not getting updated for me for last two days :-((
If that would help :
App diag : 178ea54c-06c2-4ca5-a234-a1dd7660e9e2
The regular flower care app is not updating for me either since few days. Only app working is watchflower (ios).
Difficult piece of hardware
Its an Homey core issue
Not disputing that … am I ?
Just stating its a buggie product … homey or no homey
Please report that to Homey support. More of us will report it, the higher probability is they will try to fix this
What I think is the weird thing, it doesn’t happen to all of us. Mine (only have one) works just fine. Updated the values too
Yup. Also have just one and it works perfect. As long as the battery is fresh.
I have three and none works
Or works just shortly after restart
Diagnostics report sent too.

Thanks that did the trick
Question to you all:
On what firmware are you?
Are your sensors updating?
Homey 4.2.0-rc-14
No, they are not updating due to the BLE timeout error
Homey Pro 4.2.0-rc-14
No, they are not updating due to the BLE timeout error
I see the BLETimeout at Remote IPC Process error in your diagnostics report.
I see the BLETimeout at Remote IPC Process error in your diagnostics report.
@MrTomTom @Sharkys what do we have in common that we experience this behavior? Do you have another BLE app installed?
I’m on Homey 4.2.0-rc-14.
Athom support replied - we are aware that this application do not work but we are not authors of it ;-((
Sad answer but on the other side kind of expected. The problem I see here is that there are not so many BT apps, correct ? I don’t know myself any other honestly for Homey. Because if there are any, it would be interesting to see if they struggle with the same or not.
I don’t have any others BLE App installed.
Thanks for following up here!
Homey Pro (early 2019) - FW 4.2.0-rc.14
I have no other BLE app installed - is there any other app so that I could test with another BLE device?
What does the BLETimeout mean, anything I can try to fix it?
I have 13 Sensors that are updating only 1-3 times after full restart of Homey. The Xiaomi App is disabled over night in my case - is it recommended that I disable this disable at 23.00 and enable in the morning at 07.00 settiing?
Should I (try to) downgrade to another FW?
Thx and cheers,
Tom
Just got my (first) xiaomi flora sensor. Didn’t know there was an issue with BLE.
So i’m also stuck with the BLE timeout error while adding the sensor
Did try to reboot, no luck.
Sensor updated to the latest firmware version via Xiaomi app.
I’m running homey 4.1.0
No other BLE app installed.
Anything I can do to help you fix this issue?
I’ve asked Athom. This is the response: “Homey receives that timeout from the Linux kernel. I assume it’s due to too many connections being open, which depends on other apps on Homey.”.
