[APP][Pro] WhatsApp - Simple. Reliable. Private

Yes, but that’s sending. So action cards, not trigger cards

OK, thats right, clear
Thanks @martijnpoppen for the extra explain

@JeeHaa I did check your request, but i dont see a easy way to do that in this app. I think there are plenty powerful apps out there which can do something like this.: (splitting text and create temporary variables etc)

I have a very strange question and it is the following: I would like to send a control SMS to WhatsApp asking whether all contacts of all doors are closed.

So I send a message to whatsapp: contact information
And then I get a list of which door/window contacts are open (or possibly which are closed (or open and closed).

Anyone with a little more experience in this and can tell me how to approach it?! Thank you

@EdNL i do have a flow like that

Hi Martijn

The diagnostic code c1d7fe0c-66aa-4e80-9136-7c048bc3f185

The triggers fired at 17:52 and 17:53

The first should have a normal message

The second should have send a message to a group.

@Beneke as far as i see you should repair the device in Homey.

In the webapp: right click → repair
OR
in the mobile app: device → settings → maintenaince → repair

Report with id: 60bdfb58-b442-447f-9214-a81fa5194091

Problem where the “when” card is not triggered on receiving messages.

The “then” card works as expected and sends messages.

Tried reconnecting/reinstalling and reconnecting Whatsapp and same behavior occurs.

@Hannes85 nothing in the report can you make sure to send some message to your whatsapp instance of Homey first before sending a new report?

Btw if you are sending messages from yourself to yourself make sure to enable that in the device settings

By saying “send some message to your whatsapp instance of homey” I take it just send some whatsapp messages to the number that I connected to my Homey, right? I did that multiple that times but here’s a new report after sending 10+ messages from my number to the number connected to the Homey Whatsapp App;
de0d3a29-83cb-4735-9c58-f899849a6106

I am using a different number from the one I have connected to my Homey.

Appreciate your fast responses Martijn

Yes correct!
Will have a look!

@Hannes85 report doesn’t show errors or received messages at all.

That’s weird, when I open WhatsApp (business) on my phone the messages are successfully received. Could it be that WhatsApp business does things a bit different? I don’t see what makes this different but worth mentioning

@Hannes85 I’m using whatsapp business as well. This is really strange…
Can you keep whatsapp bsuness open (maybe via web.whatsapp.com) and try again?

Just gave it a try and same result - I see the messages popping up in Whatsapp but Homey does not react to it
