[APP][Pro] WhatsApp - Simple. Reliable. Private

Hi Martijn, great App!

one small thing: if I put a group link into a Homey tag (text) and try to send a message via that tag, it doesn’t send out the message, while with the group link directly in the message it works fine. Looks like the tag content doesn’t processed properly. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Hey @Bert_Wissink
Yes saw that before make sure there are no spaces in the input field or tag.

I will make a fix that all spaces will be removed but that happened to me as well

Doesn‘t work with german landline-Numbers…

Nice @Bram_Bruggers

@kaismn correct only mobile. Also whatsapp will block you eventually for using a landline

Could it still be fixed that a landline number is not rejected in principle?

@kaismn for now no
Theres a check for all countries with mobile numbers.
So then i have to add checks for all landline phone numbers per country. Which will take quite some time

Same here , messages appear in Whatsapp, but no notification.
Samsung Galaxy S21, android 13, OneUI 5.1

@PieterDCK you don’t get notifications from messages you send form your own number. So you need to use another number if you want to receive notifications. That’s how WhatsApp works

Message queueing with a built in delay can also be done with Advanced Triggers. Maybe a little more complicated to learn, but more flexible.

Wil check your report

@Bram_Bruggers can you explain whats not working?

Messages send to whatsapp groups are not arriving.
The device for sending is giving status all good.

Theres a issue with your image card. I dont see any url in the image card.
Can you verify if text is working?

hmm going to test this, Where can i diagnose these things?
