@Ronald_den_Otter I’m using an external library maintained by another developer. I don’t have the tools to debug every api for every car. So i’m dependant on the library i’m using right now.
I already requested multiple times if i can help out but seems like that’s not the case.
I’m not planning on debugging python code to write individual api’s per car brand
and thanks for the app.
I’m trying to control the climatisation from Homey but I can’t get it to work. Are there any obvious rookie misstake I should check for? I use Skodas “My Skoda - Essentials” as reference and the values in Homey are correct (e.g. the connection to the car seems to work).
I can’t add my Seat Leon anymore.
I used to have it connected, it still works in HomeAssistant.
Verified my username and password by logging out of the Seat Connect app (on my Android phone) and logging back in again.
So I know for sure it’s the right credentials.
I am suspecting something changed again at VW id side. The homeassistant stuff doesn’t work anymore. Can’t find VIN id anymore. Did you notice this also on Homey?
Something I noticed is that when HomeAssistant loses connection, the official Android app, Seat Connect also does not work.
If I then disable the HomeAssistant integration and try the official phone app a day later, it works again.
For testing I’ve disabled the Homey Seat connect app.
Due to changes in the API it might be that your car is not working properly
Unfortunately there’s no proper fix available for all issues.
It might take a while before all issues are fixed. If this version is not working for you, please return to the live version of the app.
