[APP][Pro] We Connect / myAudi / MyŠKODA / My SEAT / My Cupra

@Ronald_den_Otter I’m using an external library maintained by another developer. I don’t have the tools to debug every api for every car. So i’m dependant on the library i’m using right now.

I already requested multiple times if i can help out but seems like that’s not the case.

I’m not planning on debugging python code to write individual api’s per car brand

Ok clear, pity for now, but hope it will be fixed soon.

@Ronald_den_Otter yeah just pinged the dev again.

will check the pyrhon code though, maybe it’s a easy fix for this app

@Ronald_den_Otter the Cupra fix in this should already be the same as the package you just shared.

Can you share a report when you try to add cupra-hybrid?

I just created a report 573eaa3d-6f32-4d25-9c8e-bed357af58c2
Its one without connection issues but giving no devices found

Hi Martijn,

and thanks for the app.
I’m trying to control the climatisation from Homey but I can’t get it to work. Are there any obvious rookie misstake I should check for? I use Skodas “My Skoda - Essentials” as reference and the values in Homey are correct (e.g. the connection to the car seems to work).

Specs

  • Enyaq
  • Homey Pro 2023
  • MySkoda 1.16.0

Hey @ptr
Can you try the test version of the app ?

I can’t add my Seat Leon anymore.
I used to have it connected, it still works in HomeAssistant.

Verified my username and password by logging out of the Seat Connect app (on my Android phone) and logging back in again.
So I know for sure it’s the right credentials.

Anything I did?

@Robin_van_Kekem yeah lots of updates in the API lately.

Home-assistant uses a different library…

But for cupra / seat Read from here  [APP][Pro] We Connect / myAudi / MyŠKODA / My SEAT / My Cupra - #1830 by Ronald_den_Otter

I am suspecting something changed again at VW id side. The homeassistant stuff doesn’t work anymore. Can’t find VIN id anymore. Did you notice this also on Homey?

@Ronald_den_Otter which app version are you on?

Same with my passat …

@Marc_Jurriens which app version are you on?

I tried both

Still same test version. 1.18.3 Test cupraconnect.

I debugged the python seatconnect, and I get:
Fetching vehicles associated with account.

This was working one or two weeks ago.
Note: this is only FYI. I don’t expect you to fix the python library. But might help in your fixes for homey

@Ronald_den_Otter I thought you were talking about Volkswagen
For Seat i didnt change anything yet
Will look into it soon

Something I noticed is that when HomeAssistant loses connection, the official Android app, Seat Connect also does not work.
If I then disable the HomeAssistant integration and try the official phone app a day later, it works again.
For testing I’ve disabled the Homey Seat connect app.

Rate limiting per user account, maybe?

@Robin_van_Kekem yeah definetely too many wrong calls leads to rate limit

:warning:
Due to changes in the API it might be that your car is not working properly
Unfortunately there’s no proper fix available for all issues.
It might take a while before all issues are fixed. If this version is not working for you, please return to the live version of the app.
