[App][Pro] Wave Cooker fan

Test version Only !!

At the moment only available for testing

(Un-official) Homey Pro app to Control Wave Design Cooker Fan

Description

Wave lets you control your Wave design cooker fan by Homey and flows. Allowing, for example, to connect your Stove system to the Wave Cooker fan. By using flows you can turn the cooker fan on and off when the stove turns on or off.

The Application works via the RF Remote signals (433Mhz), since Homey can also receive RF signals, feedback from the remote is incorporated in the application, meaning it should synchronise also if you use the remote.

Limitations

Dimming of the light is not possible by homey. When using the Light on/off function, only full brightness is supported. As for receiving feedback in case you dim with the remote, this could result in the application triggering the light as ‘off’ whilst the light is on, or not detecting the light is on.

A word of notice

I am not a professional coder and only work on this as a hobby in my spare time. Please take note of this when asking for support or features :folded_hands:

I was very glad to see an app for wave design cooker fan. I managed to add my fan to homey, but i can’t control anything. Am i doing something wrong? Any help? Keep up the good work!

Not sure. Could be related to the remote signals. Don’t know if they are al the same. In the mean time I moved houses so no more wave for me, meaning i cannot test anything anymore and will stop on development.

Thanks for the reaction, i’ll try to adjust the app for my specific WAVE. Any tips?

Well that would be difficult, you would need to scan the rf codes of your remote and then fiddle around with it in code. which is not an easy thing to do. If it doesn’t react to anything in the app, it means for sure the signals are different. Sorry

Thanks i understand. Last question than I quit, can I download the App files somewhere from github?

Send me a pm and I will get you the details.
