Hello,
Smart detections were not working after Protect 7 update. 1.9.4 fixed it.
Thank you,
Michael

did you try this?
I have the issue with the Person detections. Do we need to install the test version for the fix or will the regular version be updated soon? Thanks in advance!
well the post is probably a little older since there is no toegangsevenement gedetecteerd, but there is NFC card gescand which I am using, and I tried both the local homey user with only some access rights, as a local user with all at full management and there was no difference.
Whatever I do, the relay on the hub is activated, so until there it seems to work just fine, but the event for some reason is not detected by homey. As mentioned earlier I wonder if the event is sent by the doorbell at all since it is connected to the hub, and in Unifi log you see the message HUB access by NFC card, not camera access, so I think the hub should have some flow cards but it hasn’t. Anyway I used a local webhook at the moment, but I don’t think it is a nice solution because you do not know who opened the door, if the nfc card read flow tag would work, then a lot more information would be available and there would be more possibilities regarding opening the lock or whatever following up.
got same issue with person detections after protect upgrade to 7.0.94
“doorbell press” events still work fine
can you run the test version alongside or will it replace it?
This version of the Homey app resolved the issue for me:
It will replace the current running version.
Thanks, fixed for me as well
Hmm, that’s too bad. I don’t have any Unifi Protect gear yet, but I’m planning to get some soon. I want something similar to what you have, but with facial recognition so I can see which person has been recognized.
UniFi Protect and UniFi Access are two types of devices. The standard cameras and doorbells fall under UniFi Protect. UniFi Access is a range of devices that is more business-oriented and manages door access. Together with a HUB, you can use UniFi Access to control an electric door lock.
UniFi Protect devices are working correctly. I have tested UniFi Access devices only with older models readers and not the new one. Maybe they have changed something?
@Arjan_Neet did you add the reader as a device?
well I do not really have a separate reader, I have the G6 Entry doorbell (which has an NFC reader) connected to a hub mini, so I only added the doorbell, if I try to add a reader it returns nothing found, if I use an if card on the doorbell, I have the possibility of using when NFC card detected, but whatever I try it doesn’t do anything in the flow.
Please send me a DM, Is it possible that I can look at your configuration with online support?
Hi Obelix, thanks for the great work! The integration works super fine for me. But I have a question. I have the new G6 Pro Entry, when I add this device, four streams appear. It adds the G6 Entry streams as well in the same device and ofc so just two streams work and I have to press the pull down menue to choose the right. Is this a Unifi Bug? I have just the G6 Pro Entry.
Thanks and kind regards
