[APP][Pro] Ubiquiti UniFi Network

Damn why didn’t I think of that, have a couple more app undergoing the same procedure. I’ll just add unifi too. After app restart it started picking things up again.

Hi, trying to get the app working on my Unifi setup with a UDM-pro as controller.

UDMP running 1.11.0-14
Network app 6.5.42
3 UAC-AC-Pro on 5.71.1
1 UAP-IW-HD on 5.60.13

Looks like the app connects but cannot find any APs. User used in the app is a local Super Admin.

Am I doing something wrong or is the app not working with beta versions?

You don’t need any special rights… A local readonly-admin is ok.

grafik

Do not expect that to be an issue. I think this is more an issue:

26-9-2021 18:20:57 : [debug] Error while fetching ap list

No, I just wanted to suggest not to give your Homey SuperAdmin rights for Unifi

Understood. Had it set for less rights earlier which did not work, so had it raised to Super Admin to try and just not changed it back. Did not change anything on the behavior of the app.

26-9-2021 18:20:57 : [debug] TypeError: Cannot read property ‘forEach’ of undefined

i think you have selected the wrong site, this is an empty site of no rights!

As far as I know I’m using the default as site. Do not remember changing that. Been trying to find the info in the UDM gui but failed. Does anybody have a hint on how to find it either in the gui or cli?

Found the issue. Had put the gateway ip-address as host in the homey-app. Changed that to the dns-hostname so the ssl-key can be checked and all started to work.

After each reboot of my homey are multiple apps blocked/crashed and it seems the culprit is the unifi network app 2.1.2 (experimental). If I stop the unifi network app, everything starts perfectly.
If I’m restarting the app, my homey is blocked due to the load for about 30 - 60s, I don’t know exactly. I have about 70 devices within my network, however I don’t know where the load comes from within the unifi network app.

I’m having issue setting up, using UCK Gen1 w/ FW 1.1.19

I’ve used the classic UI to create a local user, with a 32 character long password (using a password manager, I’m not crazy, I promise).

I’ve verified the Site name. I get an error in the log, complaining about a CSRF token not being correct. Any idea on how to proceed?

EVENT: ctrl.nocsrftoken.[object Object]
EVENT: ctrl.nocsrftoken.Error: Invalid x-csrf-token header.

Hi, I had the same problem with my UMD pro, Homey and the UNIFI network en protect app.
found out that the Google “Ubiquiti Device Discovery Tool” (install app) on the unifi family page the button ‘FIND CLOUD KEY’ an other IP address provided.

Using this new found IP in the unifi network and unifi protect app with admin permissions
worked seamlessly.

I have setup the Ubiquiti Unifi app on the Homey. I created a new (read-only user).

When I try to setup a new device for wireless it works straight away. But when I want to setup a wired user it will give me a error. I’ll attach the screenshots here. Hopefully somebody can help me out.

When I’m adding a new client to Homey, the entire list of devices is selected by default. If I want to add only one device, I have to uncheck every single device from the list (50+ in my case). Could the list be deselected by default, or by a new button? Thanks!!

As far as I know, the only way to prevent that is to no longer allow multiple select. That is a hassle if you want to add multiple items.

I am having the same problem. I consistently get Invalid x-csrf-token header, and don’t get any further than that.

Hi,

I can’t make the app connect.
UDM is 1.10.0.3686
Unify network application; 6.2.26

I modified the host to UDM and copied the username and password from my Unify app for the ssh connection.

Attached the logs below. Anyone has any guess what I am doing wrong?

Network APP v7.0.20 (USG / Switches / AP)
Protect APP v1.21.0 (Camera’s / Doorbell)
Local user

First time user Athom Homey early 2018

Finally got it installed with an old Unifi UAP-AC-Lite

All latest (official) versions.

HUE, Sonos, Spotify, Chromecast and Samsung TV active.

When adding a camera device i get same message as above. “Er is een onbekende fout opgetreden [unknown_error]”

Is the new protect version to blame?

hope hearing from anyone soon…

Anyone experiencing that the app stops pretty often as of recent?
