[App][Pro] Tuya Cloud

So I have extended and it got approved. I restarted the app, but nothing works yet. Is there a timeframe?

So I followed HvN his post.

  • Signed out from the Tuya App
  • Tuya IoT Platform → Cloud → Deployment → Open/Edit project → Devices → Link Tuya App Account-> Unlink (app account)
  • Add App Account (same page as above one).
  • Signed on in the Tuya App (existing account)
  • Tuya App → + Sign (right top corner) → Add Devices → Scanning icon (right top corner) → scan the QR code.
  • Homey Tuya App Settings → Re-run the configuration (save). All done.

This actually gave me hope but didnt work.

This is what i did to solve it.

  1. Create a new account at Tuya
  2. Follow the create project steps and link app
  3. Reconfigure your app in homey
  4. reset the app
  5. extend your IOT service with 6 months

And it worked again.

Silly but not managing my tuya with Kaku gave the family stress.

And my dogs drink fountain :slight_smile:

Just looked at it myself, according Tuya you have only to extend, see also Q3 of Tuya integration FAQ in the First post. (I have edited first post to show images larger). I my case everything is still working, but IOT services was already expired for almost a half year. But the device status notification will expire in december.

Thank you. It was a bit hidden but it seemed to be expired since 2-10-22. That explains a lot. I now extended it for 6 months. Does this mean we have to extend every 6 months from now on?

Hello helper,
I’ve been watching it for a while now (2 weeks) and can’t make sense of it. The 3 LEDs switch on automatically. Always at different times and always different. No pattern recognizable.
Switching takes place according to the APP via tuya cloud. However, it is not clear who or what is causing this. If I control it via the Smart Life app, it says it was me, if it was a flow it says it, but as a device Tuja Cloud - indicates external control. But it is only a switch-on signal. Neither dim level nor color nor mode change. Everything remains as it was, except that the lamp goes on.
How do I find out who is sending the signal to the cloud? And why ONLY these 3 LEDs? None of the other devices (WLAN sockets and 3 wall switches) show this behavior.
Anyone an idea?

Hi, I can not seem to mange the ne connection of Tuya cloud app with the hot platform, did everything as explained but when I put in the credentials it gives an error "error: Error: code: 2406; msg: skill id invalid @Jurgen_Heine

can someone help, struggling whit this for months now

In post #1 are all error codes listed, with possible solutions, Yannick.

thx I know but still no solution

change tuya smart app account password and try again.

Hi found the problem. It dit for land code +32 en was 32 whiteout + thx!

The extension period has been accepted by tuya but it is still not working. I restarted the app but without success. Can I share a log for debugging and can somebody look into it to see where the problem is?

Thank you for this app. Works very well.
I have 6 DELTACO SH-P02E Sockets monitoring my power usage.

But today I bought a couple DELTACO SH-OP01 Weather resistant Sockets.
These register fine in the Tuya Smart App but Homey does not recognize them.

Would it be possible to add support for these sockets?

Looking at the IoT Cloud it seems the SH-P02E has a Produck Category: pc but the SH-OP01 has a Produck Category : cz

This is the debug for the SH-OP01:

Just read about the need to ask for an extended trial period.
Sooo… To continue using this we need to pay for the IoT Core eventually?

And that wea NOT cheap:

Both categories are already set as valid for socket, so there something else why you can’t see it.

        {
            "type": "socket",
            "category": ['cz', 'pc']
        },

You are on wrong page, look at the one linked in first post.

There is a new test version 1.1.13, in this version the thermostat is added by @RonnyW, big thanks Ronny :slight_smile:
See Tuya cloud | Homey for latest test version.

The thermostat is added without possible test. So please check if all is working and paste screenshots/error messages here if not.

@Renzo Could you please install the test version and check if it’s possible to add your thermostat? If yes, please check if all capabilities are present (current temp, target temp). Thanks :slight_smile:

Thanks @Jurgen_Heine for the fast merge!

Wow Ronny and Jurgen, this is a great addition to this app!

Sorry for jumping into the most advanced debugging first. A restart of the app solved it at now I can add all sockets.

I’ve added it. A few things I noticed:

Temperature is 70 ° (setting) and 200.00 ° (current). That should be 7 ° and 20 °.
I cannot change the temperature, nor can I select any mode or other settings.
