[APP][Pro] Trashcan Reminder 2.0

Also had issues with Den Bosch. Installed the test version, and it solved the issue where the widget showed no information.

@EdNL , @MrRikkie , @dypfryser , @Bjorn_Schalks ; the issue should be resolved with the new version (5.3.0). Will hit the release channel somewhere next week but can be tested already here: Trashcan Reminder 2.0 | Homey.

The issue was that afvalwijzer already had the 2026 data available. And in December next year the trash is collected a day earlier then this december… Took a while to figure that out  But now it should take the year into account. So you should be good to go until december next year as long as your municipality stays with afvalwijzer.

Thanks for this information, I’m curious to see if everything works out. I do have one more question, though, because you say they’ll be coming on Wednesdays instead of Thursdays in 2026. Am I understanding this correctly?

According to my municipality, they’ll still be coming on Thursdays in 2026, not Wednesdays. I don’t think that’s quite right for me yet. Or did I misunderstand your information?

Yeah, but Thursdays next year is 10 December instead of 11. And that is why double data was shown. Because it interpreted both 10 and 11 December as this year, instead of adding 2026 to next years 10 December

Hi, I just installed the update and it works fine. I had to remove the widget and re-add it again to show correct info.
Thnx :+1:t2:

Our city will leave afvalwijzer website. So i have no more connection through this great app.

The city has his own site with afvalthuis

Hopefully they will get an api link.

Hi @MrDutchfighter

I see dubble data also, only not 2 days after each other but the same date.

I removed en reload the widget and reloaded the app settings but stil dubbel pictograms.

No hurry because it works, but that you know😁 hope you can look at it some day

Thanks you in advance

ps: im on the lastets version of the app and homey

Which provider do you use?

Sorry forget to mention that. Rova afvalkalender, when i look at the dates in settings everything looks normal and correct

I don’t know if this question is already asked, but what if there are i.e. 2 or more trash pickups in one day?

I now have forced 2 pickups for tomorrow in the settings, but it only shows the first one, in this example only ‘GFT’ but it should also show ‘Restafval’.

Hi, first of all thanks for the great app!
as of the first of januari municipalities of Harderwijk, Ermelo, Nunspeet, Elburg and Oldebroek are moving to Omrin. It looks like they are using a different app, but I also see Omrin back in the config page. It does not (yet) allows me to use my postal code. Do you think it is possible to update this?

Omrin is already supported in the app. So switching to Omrin as preferred API in the settings should work. Which one did you use before?

I think the tags don’t support multiple labels. However, the global tags should output multiple labels when multiple types are collected on the same day. You can configure the text of the global tags through the settings page (How to configure Trashcan Reminder 2.0 | com.trashchecker).

Thanks for this great app. Today, I discovered the municipality of Veldhoven will start using Afvalwijzer as of now. I installed it on my Homey Pro and with minor adjustments to my existing flows, everything appears to be working again

I lost all my trashcan data since today. At least I noticed it today… can this have anything todo with the new year we entered?

@MrDutchfighter any thoughts?

Regards

Is somethings changed with the “Klikomanager Uithoorn” (PC 1423PA) I don’t get any info any more in my config (SHS setup).

I found it you must search to “Afvalkalender Cyclus”, then fill in your PC and number and save it.

For the search on the PC remove the old Klikomanager Uithoorn and bring the result to “Afvalkalender Cyclus”

Old research data off the problem

If I use the config page and do the test below then all so no info in coming back, I do a reconfig clean up location and fill in the postcode then the “Klikomanager Uithoorn” is find again. But with no result.

If I go from the website off the Municipality and follow the links I come to the website off “https://cp-uithoorn.klikocontainermanager.com” with a login (but that was all ready in de last year) and go to the Waste Calendar but that is on a complete other domain( Afvalkalender | Cyclus NV ) (with a push true off the credentials)

Do I need to select a other service because if I loo to site off Cyclus they do it for other Municipality

Maybee some body dos have a solution?

Can confirm the same problem with Omrin. It’s giving me an address not supported when I fill in my postal code and house number. In the android app itself it works fine. I did notice that in the android app a space seems to yet added automatically between the numbers and letters of the postal code.

yes indeed. The Omrin config is saying that the address is not supported.

@MrDutchfighter I just noticed that changing the address and tying to save it, returns following errormessage

Up intil the end of last year it all worked fine. Is this something with the app or is Blink giving any problems?

@Robin_Schuurman , @Walter_vande_kerkhof ; if there are any issues with the APIs please create a bug report on GitHub. Because there are over 50 APIs supported it is very hard to fix potential issues with only the information ‘Blink’ is broken, or ‘My address is not working’. I love to help out and fix it if possible, but it helps if I have the complete picture and with GitHub when you create an issue you get a template helping you out what information is needed to resolve the issue. Thanks!

Hi, wasn’t aware of the Githup-report possibility. Filled it in just now. Hope it helps. Thanks for the effort.
