[APP][Pro] Trashcan Reminder 2.0

@MrDutchfighter I’ve the same problem. Worked like a charm since now, also a Homey Pro 2019 version. Also the notification ‘dit adres wordt niet ondersteund’. Afvalkalender Circulus-Berkel.

Diagnostic report if you need it:

Thanks for searching it out!

Thanks, looks like Athom changed something with the latest update of the Homey then for older models. Will need some time to look into the details and see if I can somehow work around the self-signed certificate.

Same problem here.

Since a a week of maybe 2 weeks the led ring doesn’t light up when the trash cans will be picked up. Restarted the app but also when updating the zip code the notification “deze postcode word niet ondersteund” on the hvc afvalkalender. Zip code is 1657LJ no 11

@Leon_Rouwendaal I also noticed that the LED ring wasn’t spinning, but I didn’t get any notifications that trash had been picked up.

That might be why the LED light isn’t working.

On the bottom section “debug” there are no data visible. If you want a error report I can send you one.

So when I update the zip code I recieve an notification postcode wordt niet ondersteund and in the debug section the are no data visible.

@Leon_Rouwendaal , @Mike1233 , @Arjank95 , @Martin_127 ; As I can’t really test it myself, since the error seems to only occur on 2019 models, can one of you test the test version (Trashcan Reminder 2.0 | Homey) and see if that resolves the issue? Thanks!

Unfortunately not working for me. Same error message.

I created an Diagnostic: b460d134-28e3-41c9-9100-4c0ea7da7129

@Martin_127; Sorry to say, but Groningen switched suppliers a while ago and the new provider doesn’t supply an API that can be read. So Groningen isn’t supported at the moment until someone finds a way to pull the data from an available API. You’ll have to switch to the schematic input if you want to continue using the app for now.

Update: Groningen is supported again in (test) version 5.1.17; just published it to test. Found a working API for them as well

Perfect! That worked directly. Many thanks!!

@MrDutchfighter I did test it also and the adres is recognised and the data is also back in the app.
Thank you.

Did buy you a beer, or a cup of coffee. Trash.

Thank you for adding Omrin!

I just have a small “problem”: the notifications are coming one day early. For example, if the container needs to be at the curb on Friday, I receive the notification on Thursday.
Is there a way for me to adjust this myself (I haven’t been able to find anything), or is this controlled via the API?

Is there any plans to expand to other countries? I’m from the UK and would love to have this app to help me remember when to put my bins out, lol.

Thank you

Hi Carter, the app is already available in the UK. You can configure it by adding a manual schedule. Its quite easy to configure! See Here: How to configure Trashcan Reminder 2.0 | com.trashchecker - Working with schedule.

If you have any specific UK APIs you can post them on the GitHub page as a request.

Hi Niels,

If you get your notifications one day early you have to fix your flow to make sure to use the ‘tomorrow’ option or ‘today’, depending on your needs. You can find example flows here: How to flow with Trashcan Reminder 2.0 | com.trashchecker

I’m sorry, I might not be fully awake this morning.

My settings have been the same ever since I started using this app (for a very long time). However, since switching from manual input to the Omrin API, the notifications now arrive one day early. The settings have been on “today” for months, but only after switching to the API do the notifications come a day early.

Hm, can you check the ‘debug dates’ on the settings page (all the way at the bottom)? What dates are shown there?

The dates shown there are correct, so it’s strange that I’m receiving the notification a day early.

I’ll try to recreate the flows and see if that helps.

Ahh, I installed it but only noted NL and BB as county uses. Will look at it again.
