[APP][Pro] sysInternals - Shows Homey’s System Internals

Thanks. Restarting the app did the trick.
I thought this could be the reason my Insights is broken. No data is stored anymore. It seems something else is wrong with it.

Updated with many bug fixes,

Current Devices:

  • Homey Pro (Early 2016-2019) (including original Non-Pro models)
  • Homey Pro (Early 2023)
  • CPU Alarms (Early 2023)
  • Weather
  • Wifi
  • Ethernet Network

Hi Geurt,

The info in the timeline that there is a new version of the app available, is a really nice feature. :+1:t2:

It would be great if every app could show this.

Btw, what means “ESM” acc. the info in the changelog?

We can change the code from .js to ECMAScript Modules (ESM)

Nothing else special for the user

I already use "homey:manager:api" so can check the App if there is an update…

Permissions

  • Gain full access to Homey to control everything on behalf of the user

And see there are still 100’s of Homey’s running a verry old version (Disabled auto update, never check for updates) So thought I should inform users is an update is there.

I’ve also auto update disabled, because I don’t want to wake up in the morning and some devices doesn’t work.
It really would have been nice if this function could be integrated into all apps. But as this feature requires “Full Access”, it unfortunately makes no sense.

Thanks @Bram_C for your generous donation! :beers:
That is verry Appreciated!!

The issue you experienced is Fixed or prevented I Hope,
I reverted from ESM to CommonJS to make this asap available for everyone not yet on Homey Firmware v12, to many Homey’s are still on older App Version and even on older Homey Firmware i see in the Reports.

Whenever the getWeather() doesn’t work, sysInternals backs off for 6 x the normal update interval. It probably should recover then automatically in a couple of Hours.

Why am I getting a WARNING about having a wired connection?

Hi!

Suddenly, last evening I was getting a lot of error messages, had to disable the app to make it stop.

Can you share the flow and send a log from more… apps sysinternals settings?

After updating Homey to 12.1.1 (was on 12.1.0) and reinstalling sysinternals, the exclamation mark disappeared.

I don’t understand the warning you mentioned. Pls show the screenshots next time.

Sorry, i got a lot of reports from crashes.
I could not reproduce but found a issue introduced recently that I fixed in the latest test version.

Typical

But als think something else went wrong publishing the app or some other corruption. The latest test version is already installed om most in the test channel without crash reports.

Some ppl just want a Date and Time on their Dashboard,
not fancy Clocks …

Available in Test now: sysInternals | Homey

just one smal line on your dashboard, from your favorite sysInternals App :tada:

One Widget, customizable to any Language (supported by your browser) and with many variations in date notation.

Known Issue: It defaults to your Mobile Device / Browser Language … So fill in the settings what you want, NL of EN … Support is depending on your mobile device/browser and defined in Best Current Practice (BCP) 47 als listed als here: IETF language tag - Wikipedia (if it doesn’t work, don’t ask me  )

(I did not yet really think about am/pm, reading International standard date and time notation there isn’t any. )

If there are other popular date/time notations let me know!

Hello,
How long does it take for the alarms to clear out ?
I have a few ones on for more than a month now.
rebooting HP or the app doesn’t clear them

Neat!

One observation: the font used is very condensed, which makes the text less readable and deviates from the font Homey normally uses. Would it be possible have the user select a font? Or use a less condensed font/the same as the Homey font?

the *Occured only reset at Homey Restart,

please Check
https://tools.developer.homey.app/tools/system

even if it only occurs fe 1 second during boot (before Homey or the sysInternals App starts) it will stay on until the next reboot.

Only if it is ON in sysInternals and OFF in the devTools site send a report from the app, Restart the App and send a second report 1 minute after it.
