Yes, I guess it was just inside Homey.
I will install the fix and have a look on it.

Today the Synology app shut down my DS physically after 56 s.

It seems that the bug is fixed. Today I had no on/off entries in the timeline. :+1:t4:

Saw your report. But the info I need is not there. The DS was physically off. That’s not possible without you interacting with it. Only thing the app does is showing that it’s of, but not actually turning it off.

I would suggest to raise the interval as your DS is not responding with a succes everytime. I think 300 seconds would be better.

The dots i don’t know. Never saw them before.

When exactly? Today?

This morning I didn’t touch the DS or the DS tile in Homey. The DS was turned on/should turn on via flow.
The DS turns off automatically only when the DS is started with this flow:

Translation:

When…
– This flow is started
And…
– The DS is turned off
Then…
– Turn on DS

If the DS is turned on with the tile in Homey, the DS remains turned on.

Yeah, so checked again.
It was off this morning I think.
So then the logs show a lot of failed api calls because it’s off.
And after that I see a wake up. Which makes sense.
But the issue your mentioning I can’t see. The log is not showing that.

You are shutting it down every evening and restarting every morning?

Yes. Shutting down in the evening via flow works perfect, but not waking up in the morning via flow.
The flows are identically, only wise versa.

I guess (didn’t checked it this morning) that the flow in the morning didn’t wake up the DS. I will check it tomorrow…

My DS218+ have 27days uptime but I got similar issue that it is shown as activated/deactivated in the list.

Hi,

I have a problem when i connect my Homey to my synology ds218 i get the error Something went wrong. Check your login and 2FA (optional).

But I haven’t set up 2FA at all, is this a known issue?

I’ll implement some different loggin. Did the same with Eufy, so I can live view the API calls.
Right now it’s really hard to say why it’s showing it as off. Probably a API call which fails but I need to see that :slight_smile:

It’s quite a generic error message. But this means that your login is not correct.
If you didn’t set up 2FA it might be good to check the other settings.
