[APP][Pro] Synology

@jeremypsl Oh that shouldn’t be. Can you share an diagnostic report with me?

More → Apps → Synology → Settings wheel right top → diagnostic report

Thanks!

Thanks.

Great app!

Would be nice to see some info about the UPS if a UPS is connected.

Status
Battery charge
Estimated runtime

And a flow card to send for example a notification if the Synology is on battery-power.

Hey @PhAnt0m Thanks!

I’ll put it on the to-do list. Have to investigate if Synology supports this trough the API.

New app update (test: 1.4.5.):

  • FIX: i18n
  • FIX: duplicate flow actions
  • FIX: add verbose debug logging
  • FIX: duplicate data issue with multiple devices @jeremypsl
  • FIX: device was unavailable after shutdown. @jeremypsl

DS212 with latest version DSM 6. 2.4-25556
Works like a charm.
Only username, password and ip-adress.
No 2fa or portnumber!

Thank you, Martijn.

Really Nice @Hugo ,

Yeah port number is default filled in

I first filled in the portnumber but then it doesn’t work!
That’s why I explcitly mentioned it.

Which port did you try @Hugo

@martijnpoppen
I tried the standard port 5000 which is the port my NAS uses when I make a browser connection with it.

Thanks for reporting that. Will take a look

@Hugo

New app update (live: 1.5.0.):

  • NEW: add update interval setting - (minimal 30 seconds - max 1 hour)
  • NEW: add enable/disable auto update - (prevent HDD from waking up)
  • NEW: add manual update flowcard/button - (this will wake up the HDD but only when you activate this card/button)

NOTE:
Nice find by @jeremypsl:

When using this app: HDD will not hibernate. Everytime the API gets called the HDD wil wake up from Hibernation. Therefore I added above fixes.

From now on you can do a manual update or change the update interval to a higher number to prevent waking up the HDD’s. Max interval is 60 minutes.

If 60 minutes is too short I would suggest creating a flow an use the Update Data flowcard.

Thanks @Crashy

I do however need to upgrade to a Homey Pro soon… due to all your apps to get everything connected…

@Crashy Haha sorry! I was already thinking about a new app :stuck_out_tongue:

@martijnpoppen I can still save some memory by removing all KAKU apps and replace them with the IKEA stuff! Any thoughts on the Homey Pro vs Homey in terms of speed?

Maybe more on topic, I’m not able to connect with SSL on, is that correct?

I have the Homey Pro and never had any issues with speed/performance. I do have to say that I keep my Homey really clean and only use apps which I really need. For example i’m not using the countdown/timer app but use 3 flows to achieve a timer function. So i don’t need an extra app :stuck_out_tongue:
