No it’s not old, v2.0.54 is the most recent stable version.
The newer version numbers you noticed, are test versions, from what I understand.
Strange it works after reinstalling it though.
What firmware version is your Homey on?
I have published a new test version that does the check for streaming slightly differently and logs any reasons it fails.
My homey is on 12.8.0
Hello Adrian
With newest test version v2.0.60 its working again.
I have HP23 (Vers. 12.8.0) and 2 Reolink cameras.
Thank you very much ![]()
Latest version disable live view on my camera. Worked perfectly on the earlier beta version.
Please use version numbers ![]()
Same issue with the V2.0.60 on my homey pro 2023
What Homey firmware version are you running?
Can you open the app settings page, select the Diagnostics Log tab and set the Log Level to Basic Information. Then restart the app and wait for the cameras to be initialised. After about 1 minute, go back to the App settings - Diagnostics Log and tap on Send Log.
I had the same issue, but when re-installing the test v2.0.59 it works again on my 3 cameras.
@Adrian_Rockall great thanks for making the onvif app in the first place! especialy now with the live stream it’s a great adition!
i have one small point to improve, but that is probaly a local problem ore a setting problem on my side. when i play the live feed it has some hikups, like it can not get the data fast enough and then it wil make a jump to catch upp.
i have hikvison camera’s as wel, what can i change to the setting’s to make ik more smooth?
I had 2.0.60 installed last night. Live view stopped showing up as an option. Just to test, I installed the non-test version over the topp on one of my hubs, and it installed 2.0.54.
I updated one hub from 12.7.0 to 12.8.0 and upgraded onvif back to 2.0.60 and live view was back.
On my other hub I first updated the app, and still didn’t have live view. Next step was to update to 12.8.0 and then live view was back.
Not sure if it was the reboot or the upgrade that fixed it (don’t have a third hub to test on
). What I was seeing was this, where the live view option was missing.
I don’t think there’s anything I can do unfortunately as the app just connects the camera to the phone app and is then out of the loop.
The app requires firmware 12.7.1 or later as that is when the new function to check for the live stream feature was added.
I apologize, there was a pending update on Homey, version 12.0.8. I just performed it, and everything is now working.
Thank you for your work.
Hello Adrian.
Thanks for the app.
I have tried to configure my Axis camera with no luck.
Tested for a few days with different version, now with 2.0.60.
Homey is at 12.8.0.
Problem is that motion alarm is turned off when installing the app, and it seems imposible to turn it on.
Any sugestion?
Thanks!
Afaik every cam or motion/contact sensor starts the log with “Alarm x turned off”, like this cam
I think it’s only just a result of installing the device, not a proof of actual functionality.
Thanks!
Just found that the app seems to work, I had to set “ONVIF motion notification to use” to MOTIONALARM (State).
And the scrrenshot I provided is not an indictation of if the alarm is off or on, it shows the history of motions.
Still testing…
Probably the answer is “when it is ready” but any approx eta on when live video will be available in the stable version of the app? Trying to avoid test apps when I can, but an eta could test my persistence
Thanks a ton for taking the time to implement this by the way!
