Can you please explain how to enable it on a solaredge converter? I once tried it but didn’t succeed in using the modbus app
please try this [APP][Pro] SolarEdge + Growatt TCP modbus and send me a diagnostic report.
mostly it is hard to find the ip address . but maybe you can check if mdns is broadcasted on your phone or laptop . with ip, port and modbus.
plus don’t know if they update your firmware regurly

did you enable modbus on the inverter see 1st post on the solaredge forum? plus check port , modbus id and if ip is reachable from homey.
This is off topic as it is about the solar panels app an that doesn’t support Modbus.

For people having issues with SolarEdge, could you share your API key with me through slower_04_machete@icloud.com? I will have a look.
Yes I did. When typing in the wrong password on purpose the app reported that it was wrong. Because of that I did not suspected my firewall. But is was the firewall blocking the communication. Homey is on a different vlan then Envoy. So after permitting communication between the two it was solved.

What could be done about this? I get login errors all the time. The ID and password are correct.

is it maybe possible to support opendtu?
That would make many users of Hoymiles&Tsun inverters very happy. 
It would be great to be able to control the output power so that no more than 800w is fed into the power grid.
(sorry 800W)
I could also send you an ESP32 with software opendtu.
But we won’t help you much, since there is no inverter attached.

Hun API documentatie is volledig online beschikbaar:
Met de nieuwste updates die ze hebben uitgevoerd zou deze ook stabiel zijn. Solis cloud is dat in ieder geval toch.

@Diederik did you have a update? Still have issues with the SolarEdge .
Strange, the app is working fine here again for a while now.
My Solaredge worked fine through Homey for several years. Lately i get message “An unknown error occurred (status 404) while fetching inverter data.” Flows keep working but i cannot view the device directly.
Tried reinstalling the app en reconnecting to the Solaredge; that went well… for 10 seconds and the device is unavailable again.
But now with differnet error message: Invalid Capability: measure_voltage.ac
