[APP][Pro] Samsung SmartTV

After the update (8.0.0) I have the same - TV not found. Check IP address.

@balmli added a new PR. Seems that it broke the init of the devices

After the update I don’t get the message anymore. But the tv won’t respond.

My power state poling is off and after update to 8.0.0 the off and on works correct from my flows. Before it had an explanation mark and nothing works.

I have issues finding my apps but a lot of others I dont have when using the card “Launch app”. I assume I only see the stardard list because the fetching have failed.

I have just send a diagnostic report from the app. (323e9ee9-9a61-4274-b083-2255b2985f6e)

this tv model number qe65qn92aatxxn does not respond to the operation, it gives an error, also via the smart things api

Is the tv and homey in the same vlan?

yes, i add the IP-adres of the tv in the setting of the homey app

Just installed it. For now it is still working.

After this update my TV got a red triangle… Use a device encrypted…

The triangle is gone and I can see if the TV is on and off. But I cannot control anything from the app

Can you:

  • first try to control the TV with the app
  • then create a diagnostics report (Settings → App → Samsung SmartTv → Settings → Create diagnostics report)

and I might see what’s wrong.

I’m not able to test this myself, since I don’t have such a Samsung - model.

I have a Samsung Q80 witch often need to empty memory/reset the tv, I think this is because of memory get’s full… Is it possible to create a function to do this “reset”/empty memory on the tv from the Homey app? :slight_smile:
