@MarcelT made a change in the latest version of the smart gateway app:
3.1.7 removed power.net as it is the same as saldo. Changed Saldo to capability meter_power so that PWBH can read it
Are you using 3.1.7?

Yes, I am using v 3.1.7
Just checked the stats of yesterday.
In Domoticz I can see that consumption and production are almost the same:
In the PBTH App I see that only the Power consumption is registered:
No wonder I was well over my E budget !
Checking even further, I see that also the month stats and the year stats do not register the power production:
In March so far my net Power usage is 140,7 kWh, in the PBTH App it is 194,3 kWh.
This year Power used is 693 kWh and in the PBTH App it is 760,3 kWh
I love both Apps! Would you App wizards please be so kind to sync your Apps so the actual Power usage is registered (consumption minus delivery).
And I must apologize to @MarcelT for the confusion I caused due to the old firmware on my gateway. Hope you have patience with me… and that you agree that correct synchronisation of both your App and PBTH App would benefit all users!
Marcel implemented this in his version 3.1.7. So if it doesn’t work there is either a misunderstanding on how he should have implemented it. Or maybe you just need to delete the current P1 device (and the PBTH device that goes with that), and add it as a new one. Note that you will lose your history by doing that!
Thanks for the swift answer Robin.
I already had deleted the current P1 device and the PBTH, so I guess you are right that it’s something in the communication.
Can anyone confirm that the combination of the Gateway P1 App and PBTH works for him/her (showing the correct net stats per day / week / month). If that is true, I’ll delete the devices again.
Thanks!
PS
I do see that the daily updates PBTH does, is the sum of the consumption of the power used.
This is ‘verbruik T1 en verbruik T2’ in Domoticz. But… the Delivery counters T1 en T2 are not subtracted.
I think I have found the problem and will contact Marcel via PM.
Hi @Gruijter: as of today i switched to a new gas-provider. therefore I changed the start of the new year to 0204. Should I alter the Year budget or leave it to 1200? The calculated ‘on budget…’ seems off. I used 0,07 m3 at this moment and the app says is on 2.2% of the month (and year) budget.
thanks for your reply
The year budget starts on the day you entered. Im not sure what the best strategy would be for you.
Hi @Gruijter, a question please - when original device got removed, what is the best way please to repair it without loosing Insights? Or maybe do you plan to implement “fix” function, eg. like it was in case of app please ?
Sorry, not possible. In Homey you lose historic data when you delete a device. PBTH will not pair with the same source device if you add it again because it will get a new internal device ID. If you accidentally deleted the source device you can retrieve it using a Homey backup.
Sure, and editing it like it’s possible for < groups > app (SDK2 version, Jamie is working on having this on SDK3 as well) ?
I did not accidentally delete it,I have been forced by migration to HP2023 and broken integrations
I see forum do not like < groups > term when used without brackets
First, happy Easter to everyone. Then my question, for several days now the LEBA gas price does not update. Power does update fine.
Restart of the app hasn’t helped either. I am using the app v5.4.
It looks like the data provider (easy energy) has not updated the LEBA prices for the past few days. You might want to try adding TTF_EOD as source, because I think that is what ANWB uses. But I’m not sure. Where energy companies get their prices from can be a mystery sometimes…
Leba is correct for ANWB as far as I know. I will try EOD and see if that one will update correctly
@Pieter_Pessers Many thanks for your kind donation. Much appreciated!
Your welcome. Love the app.
@Gruijter Timeout after 10000ms by trying to install the app on Homey Pro 2023.
And while trying to install Power by the hour i get from Sysinternal app a warning for less then 20% free memory.
This happens with mobile app and web based version
I have a HP2023 myself. No issues like you describe. Are you on latest firmware? Did you try rebooting Homey?
Did try rebooting.
Timeout by stable and also test app.
Homey Pro 2023 is on latest firmware.
Send me an app diagnostics pls
Never mind . You cannot send an app diagnostics report off course…
I tried installing from the app store, and also get the timeout error. Maybe something is wrong on the appstore side. I can try creating a new version this weekend probably, but not sure if something is wrong in the app. In the mean time you could contact Athom about it.
Ps: on my old homey it installs fine.
New version 5.5.0 is ready for testing: Power by the Hour App for Homey | Homey
This update expands the functionality of PBTH especially for the Sessy Home Storage system. [APP][Pro] SESSY Thuisbatterij (NL). It will keep track of how much energy is used by the battery, and how much money the battery has earned when used in combination with Day Ahead energy prices.
And most importantly, it adds a flowcard that calculates the best hours to charge/discharge for optimal Return On Investment! I’m especially proud of this algorithm since it took a lot of puzzling to get to this. The algorithm uses a.o. the actual SoC and all known future prices, and does a brute force calculation involving BILLIONS of possible outcomes It is therefore very CPU intense, so use it sparsely, like only once an hour.
