— Switch off the lamp (physically), start the Homey pair assistant, switch on the lamp (the lamp must be resettet).

— Start the pair assistant and reset the lamp with a Hue Dimmer Switch.

I tried the reset of the lamp with a dimmer/switch. It blinked once to confirm the reset. Then I try to add the lamp as a “Being ceiling lamp” but it won’t work. Later I include it in the Philips App and it is found immediately (as Hue ambiance ceiling).
Could it be that ‘being’ and ‘ambiance’ ste different models?
As I wrote:
- Start pairing process at Homey. Try + → Homey → Zigbee
- Reset the lamp
Regarding the models, I don’t know which models are supported and which not, sorry.
But if you add the lamp as mentioned (NOT by choosing a model in the Philips Hue, without bridge App!) you can find out if the model is supported or not (generic device).

@Eternity If you try to pair a hue device that is not recognised in the app it will be normaly installed by Homey as a basic ZigBee device. If the device is installed as a basic ZigBee device you can go to the device settings and opens the advanced settings. You will find information on Producer …, Product ID …, Device ID …, Profile ID … with this information it is maybe possible by the developer to add the device. That a device is “look likes a: ……” is most of the time not enough. The other parameters or IDs are needed to. It is possible to have the same Hue Lights (looks) but different ID’s.
Some time ago this procedure was on the App page within Homey (Philips Hue, without the bridge App for Homey | Homey) But it looks like its not there anymore.

You are right, I removed it from the app info since Athom wants the app info to be less technical. All the info for adding a device, getting support, what’s supported etc is instead in the top post of this thread.
Hi, not sure I understand your problem. Is it the attributes of the device that shows a value that is not correct against the physical device or is it an variable that have the faulty data? (or something else?)
If it’s the attributes, can you please make a screenshot of the attributes of the device that is wrong with info of what they should be? Homey Developer Tools

Hi there.
A Zigbee device can only be included in one Zigbee network, in this case either Hue OR Homey.
There is nothing stopping you from using both the Hue gateway app and this app, but a device can only be in one of them… not both.
If you move a light from the Hue gateway to Homey your kids will NOT be able to use 3:rd party applications with the light.
Regarding using the old remote it’s not supported by Homey. You could however try to add the light to Homey and then try to pair the remote directly to the light. I think it will fail as the unit is not included in Homey but it’s worth a try.

Yep. nothig happens after I reset the light and try to include it in the app. Also if I tru to include it as basic zigbee device. The moment I switch to the Philips Hue App the lamo is seen and included.
The idea was to extend my zigbee routing with some of the Hue lights. I will find another solution.

@johan_bendz . did buy the new Hue Wall Switch Module ( Hue Wall switch module | Philips Hue UK) and mangaged to pair it as general zigbee device in homey.

Hi, at first, thanks for great app.
I am having problems with simple hue bulbs - recently i reset my zigbee network, because it was unstable after updating homey to 5+ version, and repaired all other zigbee devices beside hue bulbs. When i am trying to add bulbs to homey they won’t discover, also i don’t have hue bridge, is there any ways for me to reset this bulbs and add them to homey?
Philips Hue bulbs can only be reset by either the hue bridge, or most zigbee remotes that can be coupled directly to lights, like the hue dimmer switch, unfortunately it isn’t possible (yet) to reset with Homey itself, nor with like switching the light on/off several times like other brands.

It is working for this remote when you connect via the hue bridge, see this thread for explanation.
I agree with @johan_bendz it will probably not work for homey. Because it requires you to connect the remote to the zigbee bridge first. When homey is that bridge you will need to connect the remote to homey. Dont think it will work.

I had the same. And like previous posts mentions. You have to reset the Hue light bulbs. I did it with a Philips Hue dimmer switch (hold on&off simultaneously close to the light bulb you want to reset for 10 sec). However my Philips Hue lights have Bluetooth as well, with the Philips Hue BT app the lights can be reset as well. After a reset, homey will discover them again.

One tip - ON+OFF worked for almost all lights except of Philips Hue Lucca - for those I had to keep pressed only ON for 5-10sec - after light reacted, then follow ON+OFF reset.
Try to press all 4 buttons until the switch flashes orange

Oh, it’s long time ago. 
I tried this and it didn’t work. But I don’t know anymore if the led flashes orange or red. At least I had to pair the Dimmer Switch again.
Last week I hade the same problem that one other Dimmer Switch doesn’t work anymore. I thought that the battery was empty, but it wasn’t. After inserting the same battery again in the DS the problem was gone.
Didn’t had it before while the DS was connected to the Hue bridge.
Ok for my the fix worked sometime
