Hello, Time updates are not working at all with homey. Could you please advise me on raw command how to update time once a day? I believe that it should look like this, but it doenst work. Thanks! nodeID ,0x8B,0x04,00
Did you get it working? Do you have any raw commnad to update time? thanks
I heard that mcohome developers are in touch with homey to develop an official app.
No, unfortunately not.
Iām struggling to get my A8-9 paired into my homey pro 2023. I get it into pairing mode fine, but the homey app just says a generic zwave device is found. I feel like Iām missing something obvious. @TedTolboom Any ideas?
@TedTolboom here my diagnostic report ID: c9f9821a-5e28-4253-af77-9541353b4020
Did some more digging and I noticed that the product ID listed in the homey app is 4945. But on GitHub looking at when A8-9 was added to the app the product ID is listed as 4946. Could this be causing an issue? Will totally PayPal you to help get this fixed!
Yes, the different product ID is the problem.
As soon as a device manufacturer changes the product ID of the device, e.g. because the manufacturer made minor hardware changes, this new product ID must be added to the app code. Otherwise it cannot be identified and is added as a generic device.
Thanks for the reply! How easy is this to fix in the app?!
Iām not an app developer and I donāt have much programming skills. But as far as I know, if the device with the new resp. other product ID is generally identical, only the new/other product ID has to added.
In addition to the already known product ID, could you please check and post the following IDs:
ā manufacturerId
ā productTypeId
Manufacture ID 351
Product Type ID 43011
Both of those didnāt change. It appears just the product ID
Mh, I tried to add the productID and wanted to created a āpull requestā on GitHub, but it looks wrong to me, so I withdrawn the PR myself, sorry.
But as I see you created already an issue on GitHub and asked for adding the productID 4945. I guess this is all you can do for now.
Thanks for trying. lol i PayPalād @TedTolboom hopefully that helps in making this small adjustment.
Or if Ted isnāt available, is @Dijker able to assist? Thanks!!!
@TedTolboom have you had a chance to look at this? Even if you could just add the latest version of this app to your GitHub I could add it and download it to my homey.
Thanks!
Hi,
I am now far away from my PC.
I know the PR I did was to fix issues with a device I have mu own and that didnāt function correctly
Latest published version is 1.5.4 and that is in the SDK3 branch online at Tedās gh already for 2y.
Ahh! Thank you. I was looking under releases. I will try to add the product code for my device until this can be updated on Tedās app. Thank you for the reply.
I have the same problem.
Bougted the mochome A8-9 multisensor, tried to add homey pro, but cant.
After several trying, I could add to my homey, but without the app: āUnrecognized Z-Wave Deviceā, and there isnāt anything shown up, just a plug deviceā¦
Is there any solution?
This is so annoying solution, I bougthed this to my company, so I cannot send it back, and I bougted it by homeys best guide, haha
