Do you mind sharing your device settings?

Maybe we can figure out why the other people with the same controller have issues with setting colors via Homey.

So conclusion:

WS2811 / SPI based controllers donā€™t work with Homey currently.
Iā€™ll order a set my self so I can test and try to figure it out why it doesnā€™t work.

Will come back with a update for that.

In the meantime you can still use the live version of the app:

Both my devices are now recognized as AK001-ZJ200 devices and I can now control RGB :+1:t2:, but
my RGBWW on one of the devices canā€™t.

Did you compare the settings of both devices in the magic home app?

@martijnpoppen In Magic Hus app one device is RGB and other RGBCCT.

CCT(WW) is recognized on both device in your app, but dont work. Should only work on CCT device.

So one strip is RGB and the other is RGBWW?
I think the controller supports them both. So thatā€™s why itā€™s recognized.

@martijnpoppen correct. The controller supports 5 type of LED strips for $8 :wink:
In Magic Hue the controller itself find out what type and only shows relevant controls for the LEDā€™s

I ordered one myself to check it out. With an addressable ledstrip.
I also have a RGWW and RGB strip. So enough to test :slight_smile:
Hopefully I can get it to work for all different kind of controllers

Everything is working again here with 3.1.1. Unfortunately Iā€™m not able to share other device settings since I donā€™t get the settings option in the Magic Home app :confused:.

I do t know my device types, so what devices support different witch strip types? Could you list them :+1:t2:
