How does one actually add a new code? In app settings I can add a name and index, choose code as type, but cant actually enter a code for the user.
I would personally love if you uploaded v2, so I donât have to learn coding myself to get this working. I see zero ethical issues as long as the original coder clearly has abandoned the app for over 2 years. As long as you give him credit in the app store text I canât see an issue.
If you do not want this, could you publish a zip file with all the files one need to install it on their personal homey using the dev tools?
I will probably do that, but for now I have published it as a test that you should be able to install from this link ID Lock | Homey
Perfect, thanks! Iâ'll delete and re-pair as soon as I get home to test it. Should it also be able to read out the codes already programmed in the lock? Not the actual PIN, but the index I mean, so they can be deleted and re-added for example.
It doesnât read out anything from the lock. It just overwrites the codes at the indexes selected
Iâve gotten the lock transfered to your app, and flows etc work - but not the pin settings. After maintenance>sync pins, the lock blinks blue with the happy tone, but finishes with red blink and sad tone:
Also it doesnât seem to identify which user/index unlocked it in the event log:
Could you check the âSet index modeâ in advanced settings? It should be â1.6 and laterâ, but I think the default is âPre 1.6â
For door unlocking you will need to create a flow which triggers on âSomeone unlocked the doorâ, and it has a tag with the name.
I did guess this might be relevant, so I tried changing it to â1.6 and laterâ, it did not seem to make a difference.
I just realized that my code assumes that the version is 1.6 or later, regardless of that setting. They changed the PIN code indexing at that point. Do you know if the lock is updated? (I donât think this is relevant for ID Lock 202)
Mine is a 150, I updated it lastly around may, when I got a new lockbox(? lĂĽskasse) for it. I can check for updates when I get home.
Hi!
Iâm new here but I have recently moved to a house were I have a Idlock 150 installed. I bought the Zwave module for the purpose to include it to my smart home. But as I guess many of you have experienced. Iâm unable to control the lock from the app. Gets the message âListening capability Listener : Lockedâ. I should also tell you that it took me MANY tries to connect it to the homey. I was even wondering if updating the firmware for the ZWave module would have been my next step(which seems to be a lot of hassle).
After reading your latest posts about the app(test) I was wondering if this is the way to go? Is the problem the old app?
Keep in mind that firmware 1.5/1.6 refers to the firmware of the zwave module, not the lock itself. The firmware of the zwave module can only be updated via Zwave OTA.
You can get the firmware from ID Lock, but most likely people have 1.6 as pre 1.6 was only sold with ID Lock 101 and a little while after after 105 was released.
For me, i have to move the Homey next to the door to include it.
I updated from 1.5.9 to 1.5.9(!), and it actually helped..! Synced now ![]()

What is the âthen" of the flow? I donât want notifications for every unlock, I just want it event-logged.
âWHEN lock is unlocked AND index ID is(?) THEN âŚ?â
Do you mean the Idlock firmware or ZWave module firmware?
The only time I have managed to connect it to the homey(but I still canât control it) is when I have set the lock in inclusion/exclusion mode twice during the pairing.. Masterpin* + 2* + 5, after that the first step Is lit green in the pairing process in the app. If I just wait here it will fail pairing after a few minutes. Only when I do the above steps twice in row it will Immediately finish pairing and the lock appears in the app but I canât control itâŚ. Am I doing it right?
Those are not separate in the IDLock updater app, so I have no idea - but shouldnât be relevant to your issues. Check that you have the latest update anyway.
Yes, all z-wave units require the double inclusion step. Are you aware that just tapping the lock device/button will not lock it? You have to hold the button, then lock/unlock from there.
You need this screen:
Yes I have tried everything, keeps on getting the same error âMissing capability listener: Lockedâ. Canât get any other data from the lock either.
I have updated the idlock with their app that you described. The one thing I was thinking about is the firmware of the zwave module itself. As i understand, that has to be updated from a computer. I recently bought it so I think it should be decently up to date.
I also tried to put the homey close to the door
