[APP][Pro] Homevolt - Home energy at your fingertips

Hi,

Yes, that sounds like it should do the trick

Thanks!
I will finish the flow, test and report back.

Hi Hyper!
I have two Homevolt batteries, each with two battery units. One is the leader, the other the slave. After successful installation of the leader battery in Homey Pro, I tried to install also the other one. It has its own SSID and I got access to the web server to set the parameters as on the leader battery without problems.
But when I tried to install it in Homey Pro, I got “Inga nya enheter har hittats” (Swedish version).
Known issue?

Hey,

Sorry for the late response. Can you try again and then send a diag?

Hi Hyper!
No problem!
I’m not sure about how to create the diagnosis.
After another try to install the battery in the app, I clicked “Skapa diagnostikrapport” and got the number “44619960”. Can you do anything with that?

Hi,

Did you send it in the Homevolt homey app? The diag number should be longer, like this

No, did not understand that, sorry.
Tried again, the report No. is
de75fb16-3060-42c3-a47f-3154b533af50
Description (in Swedish) in the report.
Thank you so much for your patience and support!
Peter

Hmm.. logs indicate there’s only one battery announced. What is the IP address of the second one?

Yes, checked in my router: only one battery connected (192.168.51.149) which is the leading battery and which is sucessfully connected to Homey Pro in your app.
Do not remember if I have seen the second (slave) battery in the router list before. I guess it should, or does this have something to do with the “slave” function? I.e.everything goes through the leading battery?
When I checked the settings in the Homevolt mobile app, it claimed that both batteries were connected to my home network. Still I reconnected the second battery, and the app confirmed. But still only the leading battery is shown in my router.
.

That sounds likely yes. But then I need to figure out how that control works. I’ll need to get back to you.

@Peter_Soderlund can you open the webpage of your battery, and DM me the content of /ems.json?

Hi hyper!
Tried to DM you the content of /ems.json.
It ended up under a new topic “content of /ems.json", but now I cannot find it. So I guess you did not get it.
I will make a new attempt later this week.
Regards
Peter

Tibber has released its Homevolt info into the API.

Will you be bringing this app to connect with the API ?

Data API overview

Hi hyper!
Did you get my message “Copy of /ems.json of Homevolt battery”?

I’m about to buy a battery and wonder if there is a flow that can turn the battery on and off when I start the car or the sauna. The sauna uses 9 kW per hour so the battery would have drained too quickly. I want the battery to take care of the high prices for electricity in the evenings and mornings.

Should be simple. You just set grid setpoint to 0 when you turn on the Sauna. Detecting that however I don’t know, if it’s in honey it should be doable, if not maybe it would need to be manual.

Can it be possible to change params for example number 80 with a flow?

Hi,

What are you trying to accomplish?

I want to create a schedule to increase and decrease how much can be imported from the grid.

I have a power tariff, but it varies depending on the time of day.

Since 1.4.1 update last Monday my grid sensor is not working anymore

The solar is still available just as the Homevolt itself
