[APP][Pro] Homevolt - Home energy at your fingertips

Hi!

Questions from a newbie  have I understood correctly regarding the power meters?

Homevolt: Power measurement on Homevolt’s charge or discharge of the battery?

Grid Sensor: Power measurement on what Homevolt sends to the grid or receives from the grid?

Pulse: Power measurement on what the entire system sends to the grid or receives from the grid!

BR / Janne

Got the answer! Pulse and Grid should have the same value, my Honevolt was connected incorrectly

Hi @MarcoRuiter I did an update due to changes in the Homevolt data structure.

If you delete and re-add the grid sensor, does it work then?

Also, before you do, please restart the Homevolt app in honey and submit a diagnostics if you can.

Hi,

Now both grid and solarsensor stoped working. I have removed and rebooted the app and Home and then added them again but ni new value

I have also a question, why cant I set charge now over 6000W, got errror even with 6001

Hi,

Can you restart the app and then send a diagnostic report? There was a number of changes to the internal data structure of Homevolt recently.

In terms of powe, the max for the inverter is 6000W so that’s the reason for the cap.

Hi

Report sent.

Yes the inverter is 6000 but i have two. So the 6000 splits over two, so i get 3000 W / HomeVolt.

It stoped working around 12 yesterday

Yeah I pushed version 1.4.1 live yesterday so it was probably that. Can you dm me the output from your /ems.json and /status.json?

Sorry for newbie, but is it from Homey or HomeVolt?

No probs :flexed_biceps:
Homevolt, open your battery web page like http://192.168.1.57/ems.json in your case.

Send me the content in a DM :crossed_fingers:
Then do the same but with status.json

@Chrille_A and @Stefan_S , I’ve released a version to test that improves backwards compatibility. Can you try it and provide feedback?

Seams to works as it should.
Circle back if I discover other errors.

I have tried putting the slave battery in local mode too but it doesn't listen to it through Homey.

I have also tried a separat flow like that one I use for Master. But no change.

Hi,

It’s a bit hard to troubleshoot from distance.
In short I’m using the local console to execute commands, so if you can figure out how control works there with multiple batteries that’s a good start.

What will happen if it was posible in homey to set over 6000w?

This is how Tibber set the event

If I in console uses commande: ”sched_set 1 -s 15000”.

It sets 15000 w and the it will charge at full speed
