Ik doe vast iets verkeerd. Als ik de FP2 opnieuw in de aqara app toevoeg moet ik hem ook aan homekit toevoegen maar dat is nu juist wat ik niet wil omdat hij dan niet wordt gevonden in homey…toch?
Je voegt hem denk ik toe met een Apple device? Dan komt ie wss idd meteen in de Home app terecht…
Ik heb zelf geen Apple, maar kun je het volgende proberen, fp2 verwijderen uit Homekit, herstart de Homey Homekit app en kijk of ie dan discovered wordt…
Na het inkloppen van de code gaat de led blauw knipperen, maar krijg ik enkele seconde later een invalid_settings_type. Led blijft eindeloos blauw knipperen.
Als ik het opnieuw probeer (terwijl de led nog steeds blauw knippert) krijg ik direct na het intikken van de code “connect ECONNREFUSED 192.168.x.x:57668”
Als ik de app daarna herstart vind hij hem niet meer. Alleen na een factory reset vindt de app hem dan weer, maar toevoegen geeft weer hetzelfde resultaat
ja klopt ik gebruik Apple devices. Ik heb hem uit homekit verwijderd en de app opnieuw opgestart maar helaas wordt de FP2 niet gevonden.
Zal in volgende versie logging toevoegen zodat ik kan zien wat de status van de FP2 is.
Kun je wellicht nog 1 dingetje proberen: fp2 van de stroom af en weer opstarten. Voor de zekerheid de app nog een keer herstarten.

En Homey en de FP2 zitten wel in hetzelfde netwerk? Geen rare dingen als een apart IoT netwerk of VLAN?
Mocht je overigens Home hubs hebben (Apple TV of HomePod) zou je die eens moeten rebooten.
helaas ook dat heeft niet geholpen.
Ja ze zitten in hetzelfde netwerk. Ik zal de appleTV, iPad, en Homepods ook even rebooten.

It’s frustrating to translate every message.
Rebooting the Apple devices and the app after that did not help. FP2 is working fine btw.
Will release a test version with log before the weekend.
The Dutch part was deliberate, wanted to keep the base small at this stage. App store unfortunately needs a first non-test release to make it visible.

Sorry for the basic question: as a Google guy without any Apple hardware, what do I have to do as a minimum to make the FP2 available in my Homey 2023? With Google Home it won’t work very well (it sometimes works).
I do not own any Apple devices. The FP2 works fine with this app, as it will be the only homekit controller.
Advantage not disadvantage, before pairing, unplug the FP2 and plug back in again, then it will show on the network…

How do you add FP2? I can’t see it when I use “new device”
What is your environment?
Is the FP2 already paired to Apple ?
if no Apple products present and FP2 not paired before, power cycle the FP2 and restart the Homey Homekit app, try to pair the FP2.
if not wworking wait for update on the app so i can see what is happening.
How I made it work was as follows:
I had the FP2 in Apple Homekit, and wanted the FP2 in this app and homey.
I went to home app (apple) and selected the room where the sensors were (of the FP2) and long pressed that sensor. Then on the bottom of that page you can remove the accessory, and that is what I did to remove it from Apple Homekit.
After that (without restarting anything) i installed the app homekit controller for homey and added new hardeware ( + sign) and selected homekit controller. There it was, the FP2 sensor
