Done thnx
New app update (live: 2.26.10):
Changelog:
1. FIX: timing issue in app start sequence
@FERRY_Dekker @DomotiFrank You had a issue with the startup sequence of the app. This should fix it again ![]()
Top bedankt. Het werkt weer.
@martijnpoppen unfortunately creating another account didnât work. The wrong device is still snoozed. New diagnostics report: e4205cda-3b87-4ca5-aad2-494c3b377fc7
What was strange btw, was that the first account I created only had the role Guest, while the second one I created (which I just tested), had Admin as role. Both were able to set snooze for a Eufy device. Which is weird⌠because as a Guest, you cannot do that in the app itself. Leads me thinking about whether Eufy has their security straight⌠
Thnx Martin het lijkt weer te werken
@trietsch Iâll DM you
Martijn, I couldnât find if the question has been asked before. Would it be possible to control PTZ via the app?
Hi @dene30
Yes/No. I know there are some P2P commands I can send. But the problem is thereâs no feedback from the device. So youâll never know what state it is in.
I can take a look at the possibility though
Martijn, in my Homey timeline your message appears about the new way the Eufy 4.0.0 app handles new devices etc. You give the following link for more info: âhttps://tinyurl.com/eufy-homeyâ
Typing that link in my browser (Safari on a Iphone, without the quotes) it doesnât show additional info.
Can you please check this.
How can I check if my Eufyapp on my Apple device uses the new 4.0.0 method?
Hey @Roger_Gorissen
Please try to keep this conversation in english.
You can check in the Apple app store which app version you are on. I would suggest if youâre not on 4.0.0 to disable auto updates. For now
For the URL. When you input that in your URL bar youâll get the FAQ.
I put the latest status there. If theres are questions people can ask Them here to keep everything centralised
Oops, my mistake. I will adjust my message.
The problem is that when I enter the URL in the URL bar I donât get the FAQ page. Thatâs why I gave you the feedback. Tick the link in my message on a Apple device and you come to a page about some general info of Tiny URL. Oh BTW: I really do understand how URLâs work
.
App version of the Eufy app is V3.5.2_851 and no message about a new version.
@Roger_Gorissen When I click your link I do get the tiny-url with quotes " when I remove that it works
New app update (test: 2.26.12):
Changelog:
1. FIX: wrong device channel when setting snooze mode
@trietsch Can you click the above link and install the test version? It will contain the fix for the snoozemode
I entered the quotes to show what I get when I enter the URL that appears in the Homey timeline. Using the URL without quotes on this forum, the link changes to the one you mean, to the FAQ. Strange.
I thought with 4.0.0 you meant some underlying technology Eufy uses, but itâs just the version of the IOS Eufy app
. I think way too far.
Really strange. I canât reproduce it
for me it just link to the proper page
Luckily not. For now I really hope they update the android app soon. Because decompiling a IOS app is really hard.
But maybe we have a IOS guru in this forum ![]()
Entering the URL in Chrome on my Iphone and I get the proper page. Using Safari I get the general Tiny URL info page. I canât explain this. Problem solved, partially.
So strange⌠
I thought lets take tiny-url so itâs not a long community url. But seems like that was not the best idea
What did Eufy change in the 4.0.0 IOS app, or what goes wrong when using that version? For now you donât exactly now what Eufy changed, I believe, reading your reply.
