@Chanel65 Yep now I see it
Can you try a repair of the device?

It’s the same on all eufy cameras, should I try to repair the HB3 or the camera we are testing on?

@martijnpoppen

Tried repair of camera and restarting the Homey eufy app, and then also the same with the HB3, but still the same issue. :roll_eyes:

@Chanel65 do you have any blockers on your network like pi-hole or Adguard?

@martijnpoppen

Nope, nothing of that kind.

And the strange thing is that it started while we were away on vacation.

@Chanel65 can you try a different eufy account?

Hi @martijnpoppen

Tested with a different eufy admin user, but still no image. :thinking:

@Chanel65 that’s really strange. The url to Eufy gets blocked and therefore it can’t download the picture, but i can’t see why it gets blocked. normally a different user would solve something like this.
That’s also why i asked if there are blockers in your network like adblocking etc, but i can’t really tell why it doesn’t work…

Thanks for looking into this, @martijnpoppen!

I really appreciate it. :folded_hands:

Guess I have remove everything and start over to see if it gets resolved. It’s alot of work, but at least I know what to spend the weekend with. :upside_down_face:

Hi @martijnpoppen. I just purchased a C31 camera and found that it’s not listed among the devices that can be added to Homey. Are there any plans to add this device (please?). Willing to help out with testing and information. Otherwise I will have to return it.

@Brigitte_W it’s supported
Add it as a Battery doorbell (assuming you are referring to the doorbell) if not please provide a link

Hi Martijn. I don’t know why they did this, but Eufy have a C31 doorbell and camera. It’s this device. Wired Cam C31 | 360° Pan-Tilt, Full-Color Night Vision - eufy US

@Brigitte_W sometimes they name 3 devices the same. Really confusing

However the C31 camera is not supported and unfortunately I can’t add it at the moment: [APP][Pro] Eufy Security - #5 by martijnpoppen

That’s too bad, but thanks for the app anyway. My S350s work great, but I needed an outdoor cam.

Is your doorbell connected to homebase 2?

if so, It might be related to a update eufy just rolled out because i have the exact same issue. And before that my quickreplies did not work.

This is the the last reply from eufy that fixed my quick replies

Dear Customer,

I completely understand how frustrating it can be when your device wakes frequently and quick replies aren’t saving properly, and I truly appreciate your patience while we work to resolve this.

The root of this issue is that the new app version (6.0.3.0) sent instructions intended for newer Homebase versions, which caused your current device to wake more often than usual. This has affected battery usage and quick reply functionality.

To help narrow this down and restore normal operation, we have pushed **version 3418** to your Homebase. Once you upgrade to this version, it should resolve the frequent wake-ups and allow quick replies to function correctly.

Please try updating and let us know how your device is performing afterward. I’ll continue to monitor this personally to ensure everything is running smoothly.

Oh and to save you from the work of fixing all your flows after remove use this script if you’re on pre Homey Pro 23

Pro 23 onwards you can use Flow Converter app, link found on top of that post.

Sorry to jump in with this question, if there is somewhere more appropriate, then please point me in that direction.

I have a 2k Battery doorbell connected to a Homebase 2.

I’m trying to get a snapshot from the doorbell that I can then send to my TV, I’ve finally got the backend working but I cannot get Homey to take a snapshot.

My starter is the doorbell being pressed, then I take a snapshot and attempt to send the resulting image to the TV, but all that is displayed is the placeholder image.

I have had a variety of error messages but the latest is saying that the snapshot is timing out. I’m currently waiting 8 seconds before attemptinig to send the image to the TV.

Any help appreciated.

Stephen

@Stephen_Petitt please send a diagnostic report after reproducing the issue

HI @late4marshmellow

Thanks, my cameras are connected to a HB3.

But it might be related to an eufy update since the HB3 was updated to version 3.8.2.8 on 15/5. I had not seen that. :thinking:
