@Roger_Gorissen i think that’s just a updated thumbnail image. So the image you see when you open the Eufy app on your phone and it shows the last image on the camera.
What surprises me is that the image appears when I change the status of the Homebase 3 using your Homey Eufy app. I don’t see the relation between a change of the status and appearing of an image. What originates the appearance of the image? And better: what can I do to prevent this?

@Roger_Gorissen I just explained where it originates from in my previous post. The status change triggers a lot of updates within eufy. All camera status and everything updates when you do a status change. That’s just how eufy works
You can’t prevent it, but maybe you can explain why this would be an issue ?

Anyone else having issues with eufy camera showing motion triggering in Homey eufy app, but not in eufy app the same time? It does not reset itself, app needs to be restarted or motion needs to be triggered again, then it works until next time it “ghosts”. Has happened muliple times last day, and on multiple cameras.
It has been working perfectly for a very long time until now.
Issue on both my two Solocam S340 and my Video Doorbel E340, but not on my two eufyCam s330. All connected to the same HB3.
It’s a HP2023 with fw 12.11.0 and eufy app 3.41.2.
Thankful for any suggestions or help as it triggers lights, but does not turn them off anymore.

It happend again, but on two cameras at once. One on the frontside and one on the backside of the house.

Even turning camera on or off triggers motion detections, this report is for turning off Dörrklockan but it’s the same for all my eufy cameras.

Ah, in that way. I understand it now. But still, it’s not what I expect to happen, despite the cause.
Can’t imagine Eufy gets a trigger to pretend a motion has been detected. I’m quite sure that’s not how Eufy works.
It’s an issue because I get a message from my Homey someone is seen at my front door with a non relevant image. Not once, sometimes a few times a day. And when I get such a message at 23:00 hours, I really don’t like it. That’s not how it’s supposed to work.
Your app didn’t have this behavior until a few months ago, not just till a recent update. I’m almost glad I’m not the only one experiencing this. I’m sure you find a cause and a solution quick.

I’m experiencing the same issue, where the motion alarm triggers randomly (and not in correspondence with Eufy app). An additional piece of information is that this alarm never turns off, in contrast to ‘normal’ alarms that are visible in Eufy app as well. This would keep sections ‘active’. Having a card ‘stop motion alarm’ would provide a temp solution, though not for the problem of getting random alerts in the first place. Thought it might be relevant. Hello,
I have made a second account and have successfully been able to add the HomeBase 3 to Homey, but when I try to add my cameras I get the error that says “no device found” and that I should log in with my second account. I have turned off 2FA and made sure I have both shared all the devices and the home with my second Eufy account. Got any tips to fix this problem? This is my report. 948D8F49
Btw, the cameras are the E40s.
