@Welshsmarthome so all notifications are activated and you get a notification from the eufy app on your phone?
This is my experience, using a C31 doorbell with mini chime base (both newly installed). Iām getting Eufy notifications but nothing from Homey either on motion or doorbell press.
I also saw a post about needing to enable person motion, not generic motion. However my Eufy app implies that this will only trigger in the daytime, which isnāt a lot of use for turning on a light.

Ive restarted the app and tried another admin account. Now I cant log in at all. Just get a spinning wheel in the middle and nothing loads! ![]()

FYI motion is not the same as person detection. so make sure to distinguish those 2.

Thank you. In the case of the Eufy app I have (set up as a doorbell and chime only, not a security system) it seems to suggest that all motion is captured, rather than everything except people. My screens seem different from yours but Iāve activated all notifications I can find under the doorbell itself and also under the mini chime. Notifications are coming through perfectly well from Eufy, but nothing from Homey.
I have sent a diagnostics report immediately following motion detection and receipt of the Eufy notification.

Iāve used the Eufy security app for a while, but have never used the door contact triggers before. until today. I noticed in the Homey app I could not get an Eufy door contact to reflect the status of the door being open or not.
I wasnāt sure I was doing things right, should just work, right?
until I changed a setting in the Eufy iPhone app and turned push notifications on:
After this I could see the status change in the Homey app when opening/closing the door.
However:
If I turn on the push notifications in the eufy app it will give a notification to my phone each time a door status changes. Not good.
Does anybody know a different way how to make the Eufy contact alarms working in the Homey app?

Youād best move your post to the dedicated Eufy app topic, mentioned on the app page at the homey.app store.
The developer will be nudged by that as well.

@BigSniffer I didnāt get your report ID
but saw one about motion detection I think that one was yours?
it had a person detection
As already mentioned person and motion are 2 separate things
Also in the official eufy app, if you go to your event list you will see a person detection
So check the overview tab in the Homey Eufy device and you will see that person has triggered
If you want a ācatch allā trigger enable generic motion in the device settings of the eufy device in homey
It doesnāt make any difference whether I set it for person or generic motion detection. I havenāt yet seen a Homey alert, but Iām consistently getting Eufy alerts.

Just to be clear, didnāt see that in the version description: is it intended to work without the āPushmeldingā set to āonā in the Eufy app?
I just installed version 3.39.8 and confirmed that this is the actual version installed. When testing I am seeing the same behaviour I saw before installing this version:
Description of how I tested
Since I still had āpush melding onā for that door I tested with the current setup, with the new version. In Homey the doorcontact is alive (as before, due to pushmelding on) and received a message of the Eufy iPhone I that I spend and closed that door. Same as before.
Then I deactivated the push melding, set it to off. Now the doorcontact does not respond anymore in Homey, also after swiping away both the Homey and iPhone Eufy app and activating them again on my phone. same behaviour like before the test version.
Am I doing something wrong?

@BigSniffer can you send a screenshot of the device timeline? (from the eufy device in Homey)
@Philip_Meulenkamp in that case in doensāt work without notifications. I was hoping it did. But then you need push notifications for the door sensor.
unfortunately thatās the only way how events work in the Eufy app (via notifications)
@Philip_Meulenkamp best thing to do is search for a app via the search bar. Most apps have a dedicated topic ![]()
I have 2 of these lamps āeufy Indoor Floor Lamp E10ā, would be great to have them within the app. Any news on this integration?
