Thank you for doing gods work on this app. I am extremely happy with the experimental integration of the live streams of different Eufy cameras in the app.
I have 2 Eufy Pan & Tilt cams and 2 Eufy 2C cams. All seem to work, however if I select one of the cameras in the devices overview I am greeted with an error message (something went wrong - tap to retry) follow by an error code in red: player is unable to open MRL ‘rtsp://xxx@xxx’.
When I press to retry it works immediately, instantly showing the live stream.
Thank you very much Martijn, did see the first part, but not this second part, so that is great. Should that also work with the message option within the Homey app, or does that only work with whatsapp, as whilst I used take snapshot flow, it still shows up with a tumbnail, not the actual footage. Thank you again!
Hi @martijnpoppen, Thanks for your work on the app!
Just a quick question. Snapshots don’t seem to work for me. I’ve set all the settings in the Eufy App correct, also I’ve made a flow that takes a snapshot when the flow is started and a snapshot that takes a snapshot every time the area get’s active. But then still, when I make a flow that triggers a notification I get a notification with an old snapshot. If I start a flow a couple of times that should make the snapshot it still doesn’t make a new snapshot. Do you maybe know what I am doing wrong?
I am once again stumbling over an activation and deactivation issue with my 5 Indoor Pan & Tilt and my 2 S330 cameras. With Heimdal, I am using these as an alarm system, which is either activated manually of by geofencing.
However, during the holidays I became aware that the cameras are not properly turned on - here´s an excerpt of the flow:
This flow continues in that matter until all (in this case upper floor) cameras are turned on. However, only the first camera in the “row” is actually turned on, the 2nd and last one stays turned off, but without any error message being pushed to published to the timeline.
For the ground floor (where it´s 3 cameras), it’s always the last one/3rd camera in the “row”, which is actually turned on be the similar flow, also without and error message being pushed to published to the timeline.
As for the 2 S330, no camera is being turned on (same flow design).
It used to work, I just realized now that it doesn´t any more. Any suggestions?
@naehle are the cameras connected to a Homebase or all standalone
Connecting to standalone cameras after each other doesn’t always work due to blocked ports, P2P instability etc. Next to that it’s a one way command, so the flow card will always return true
Thanks, that should be the reason, then - they´re all hooked up as standalone devices.
I tested the home base once, didn’t like the setup process at all and didn´t see any real advantage… this might change now. I have one (a little) off-topic question in that regard: Does the HB make use of my various access poiints, or do all Eufyx devices need to be reachable directly be HB? If the latter is true, then it again won’t of any use for me….
