I can’t seem to add my Eufy wired E340 doorbell and keep getting an error message that ‘no devices found’, despite seeing the doorbell in my eufy (secondary) account that I use for Homey. Please could you help with what I am missing?

@martijnpoppen , @Marcus_Bitterling was asking for “person is not a known person’.
So a person who is unknown.

That’s correct. I want an AND card when an unknown person is spotted.

But are you adding it as a dual battery doorbell?

I would really like to see this added too!

The E21 can now be added to the Eufy security app as well, not just the Eufy baby app.
I hop this changes things. :slight_smile:

@MW87 not really, thing is it’s still not possible to reverse engineer the Eufy app at the moment, so it seems not possible to add new devices at all.

Also the Baby camera is not part of the Security part of the Eufy app, but of the Care part. Even in the new 5 in 1 app there are still 5 different apps. Just as the names says, 5 in 1. So it’s still not 1 ecosystem, there are different API’s etc.

I did, but it seems to not find the wired one, did seem to work with the battery option, so that worked. I am now trying to make the snapshot of the doorbell work as part of a flow, but this doesn’t seem to work. Seems like any snapshots btw also don’t work with any of my connected cameras. Thank you very much again for the advice!

Thank you for the fantastic job you’re doing,
I’m coming back to you with my strange request about having the status of door and window sensors directly in Homey, without going through Homebridge.
I hope you’ll find a solution; I think this could expand the possibilities of these sensors in the different scenarios.

@Jos_Vp correct as it is a battery doorbell :slight_smile: (even if you wire it to 12v)

Snapshot only work well for the E340 if you connect it to a Homebase, standalone doesn’t work with snapshots

@stefaanoyen click on the doorbell, click on the cog wheel of home and change the settings

Haha, yes, but there is an exact same doorbell (dual camera) in the homey eufy app that says wired, but thank you and much appreciated.

Both my doorbell as well as my S330 cameras are connected to the s380 homebase, which are all connected to homey, but none of them pass a snapshot picture through to Homey, at least, they only send a snapshot with a default template pic, not the actual live footage.
