Yes they are. Can it be a firewall thing?

@SmartChef yes could be
If I’m correct is should show the stream MRL ?

Not sure if I fully understand you. It shows a message the player is unable to open the MRL. This is the same information I see in the eufy app. So I’m guessing some information is coming through. I trimmed the screenshot on purpose so the complete link isn’t visible:

@SmartChef i do see the MRL starts with rtsp, so that should be correct, if you copy that url and try to see it in VLC on a laptop does that work?

great app and great support, will you add the new camera’s to the app like the eufycam S4 in the next release ?

@ChrisBoer at the moment not
The eufy app can’t be reversed engineered at the moment so have to check what is possible
I hope to have some time during the Christmas period to look into this
But might be they can be added

Hi Martijn, nope. Also doesn’t work. Tried it on my laptop on the same network. I get a can’t connect and can’t open error message in VLC.

I use the link that is generated by Eufy.

Still guessing what could be the problem. What I found online is: When VLC can’t open an RTSP stream, it’s usually a network issue, firewall blocking, wrong URL/credentials, or a specific VLC ; try checking firewalls, adjusting VLC’s Demuxer settings (RTP/RTSP TCP), ensuring the URL is correct (escaping special characters), and restarting devices.

Any ideas?

I would love to see this support as well!

@SmartChef no no idea
But if it doesn’t work in VLC it won’t in homey
You can try to set a different encryption mode in the NAS settings of the camera, basic or digest

Hi Martijn, I think I found the reason why it’s not working.

Eufy support says: The Floodlight Cam E340 does support RTSP/NAS when it operates independently. However, if it is connected to HomeBase 3, the RTSP/NAS function will not work at the moment. The RTSP feature on the camera is compatible with NAS devices that support the RTSP protocol, and Synology NAS is confirmed to be compatible with eufy Security. For other NAS brands, compatibility has not been tested by eufy.

In my case I have the camera connected to a Homebase 3 so now I know why it’s not working. Thought I might share this for others that have the same set-up. Took me some time to figure this out.

@SmartChef interesting
Other cameras do have the option for both.

Good to know but not sure if I can fix that in the app, like that it doesn’t show a stream when there’s a Homebase connected

Hello guys!
The app was working for me fine, but in the last couple of weeks, all my cameras, sensors and door bell are offline in the app. I reinstalled the app, but when I try to add them again, after log in it gives me an error.
I changed password, same. Does anyone have the same issue?

@KristofSzirmay please send a diagnostic report

Hi! I tried from an other PC, and from there, it was working after… so from now, I am okay, but first of all I do not know why did it stopped working in the first place. Thank you for the fast reply!

Hi @martijnpoppen Great work by the way on your app!
I know the siren is not supported but is there any sort of work around where you can actually trigger it via a flow connected with the homebase I might be missing or another app on Homey for when the alarm goes off in say Heimdall?

Hi, I have bought a new c220 camera but I got an Error “Property name is not valid”.
I use the testversion 3.40.7.
I have the latest Firmware and I have restart the camaera and tha app, tried to repair camera in Homey but no succsess.
I first tried with the regular app (not test) and it was the same error.
The camera works fine in the Eufy app.

Greate Work with all the apps you develop!

@Magnus_Sward will check
Thought I resolved that … :frowning:

Hi @martijnpoppen ! I love this app and it is working great (most of the time :slight_smile: )

A feature request that I guess is super simple to implement. The snooze functionality in the Eufy app has an option of 15 min, in the Homey app the shortest time is 30 min. Would it be possible to add 15 min? 5 and 10 min would be awsome aswell, but I guess there might be a limit in the Eufy API:s

Thanks and have a nice day!
