I am using the govee version, but how can i get homey to cotrol my Homey outdoor led
As Martijn said, you can’t. But since you were planing on getting more lights, if you buy Govee instead of Eufy you will be able to used them within Homey.
@Marc_Castermans that’s for live streaming. So if you want that enable RTSP in the eufy app
@Aybee If you don’t receive notifications neither will Homey receive them. So best to check whats wrong with the notifications and then troubleshoot in Homey
I don’t know what the problem is, it must be Eufy’s fault.
Push notifications are not coming through on either iPhone or Android but only for the Entry Sensor all other Devices Works
Do you have any sensors at home? Are they working?
I use the entry sensors within Homey, they work just fine.
@martijnpoppen When I click on NAS (RTSP) it claims that it will dis-connect the Homebase. Is this just a messed up translation from Eufy?
@ExtraKim interesting, depends on the camera I guess.
@ExtraKim I think you’re mixing things up:
- Event images: images which are received when something happened (e.g. person detection)
- Snapshot images: on demand images which can be taken at any moment. (since 3.39.7 it’s no longer running on a external server, but natively on Homey)
- Livestream: introduced by Athom for Mobile app V9.6.1. Eufy can do live streaming for RTSP enabled cameras.
Concluding:
- Snapshots have been there for a while, but required a setting in the camera in Homey.
- Livestreams are new
My event images have stopped working, I get “Eufy Placeholder Image”. I added RTSP and now I can get a picture in the Homey app, when I pick Snapshot but not Event.
@ExtraKim still those are 3 separate things. You don’t need RTSP for a snapshot or a event image
@ExtraKim there’s a explaination for everything right ![]()
But I changed the mechanics of images as I was changing the snapshots to be local I had to update the image logic. So event images have been changed how they are saved, might be that something went wrong there. But I need a report to investigate that
Still no relation between the 3
Something have changed since I have used push with a picture for two years and now I just get this.
I will just activate a push and then send you a report.
Now that I have activated the RTSP, do I need to do that on all cameras or will every camera get this function, I think that the Eufy app said something about all cameras connected to a specific Homebase will get the same settings.?
@ExtraKim Sorry, but I did explain in my previous post that something has changed right… ?
RTSP is per camera as far as I know
Yeah but don’t you need a report to figure out what’s the issue?
@ExtraKim yes I do!
Here you go.
