I bought a eufy cam 3 pro.
is it possible to run live like homekit?
I tried via widget live but it didn’t work

@KestasM Sorry can you explain what you mean? This is not really clear. If you want to have live streaming make sure to enable RTSP in the camera first

1: NEW: Local snapshot capture (more reliable snapshots) - This removes the limit of cloud snapshots (Snapshots will be made with FFMPEG which runs on your Homey)
2: NEW: video streaming for RTSP supported devices (Make sure to enable RTSP in Eufy app first)
3: NEW: Start RTSP stream when requested, should prevent the auto RTSP kill because of the Eufy firmware

1: FIX: memory leak in library
2: FIX: memory issue with snapshots (this caused app crashes)
3: FIX: removed duplicate snapshot updates

5: FIX: revert battery saving fixes which actually didn’t save battery
6: FIX: check if device has streaming capability to prevent crashes on non camera devices
7: FIX: eufyCam E330 Professional (T8600) didn’t have RTSP in the Eufy SDK
8: FIX: snapshot not updating (occured in 3.38.4)
9: FIX: battery drain (occured in 3.38.0)

BLOCKED: (Not Testable yet)
1: video streaming for Battery devices via ffmpeg (which do not support RTSP natively) (maximum 5 minutes per stream due to Eufy limitations)

    Settings wheel bottom left - Select Eufy Security - Click on send diagnostic report (add your email to the description)

@martijnpoppen good morning, since a day of 4 I have some problems with one door sensor. In the normal eufy app it works. But not in homey. Can you check it for me please?

@martijnpoppen I can’t find anywhere to turn on RTSP on the new eufy pro 3 cameras. I only see something on the older eufy pro 2. But I don’t need to write all day. I just want to see the live image at that moment via homey, similar to homekit. Is it real?

Restarted, reboot homey, reboot homebase. Tried onderhoud. The motion detection badkamer works fine. Only this one is not working any more.

And do you get notifications on your phone?

I just got the same issue with my camera’s. They got suddenly unreachable in homey. (official eufy app works fine).

After restarting my router, restart homey eufy security app, and restart homey pro the camera’s are online again. Maybe it works for you also in this order? (and hoping mine stay online :wink: )

HI Martijn, sorry for not responding anymore, very busy last months.

I will send a report if i see that a person isn’t detected correctly in eufy security app.
