4: FIX: improved error handling in snapshot capture
5: FIX: revert battery saving fixes which actually didnât save battery
6: FIX: check if device has streaming capability to prevent crashes on non camera devices
7: FIX: eufyCam E330 Professional (T8600) didnât have RTSP in the Eufy SDKBLOCKED: (Not Testable yet)

I am testing it on two T8600 (E330) Professional Camera
I also have other cameras S330 but I didnât try to turn RTSP on them.
I donât know why there is no start sequence ![]()
I tried one more time by the app - 10ea4f53-d970-4006-9eeb-c3c3d543da37
Now everything is working:)
You are the BOSS!
Thank You very much
EDIT: Full screen preview is force closing the app but I assume it is too heavy to run.
Best regards and have a nice day
@Lukasz_Kostek that would be something for athom to check
Probably because itâs 4k
Glad it works. It was never implemented in the sdk
This was on. WiFi .I have also de eufy s330 cameras after updating tot the latest test test version the cameras working again
chips
@martijnpoppen **Unfortunately, itâs going wrong again
![]()
@Linden85 i cant do anything about that
The url looks correct. If you check the eufy app you probably see the same url.
This looks like a networking issue between your homey and your camera. I canât help with that
Only thing homey does is consume the url from Eufy. The eufy homey app doesnât do anything with it
If what youâre saying is true, then why is the live feed restored when I restart the Eufy app?!
And why does it go wrong again after a while?
Homey is connected true a ethernet connection and i have zero connection issues with the Eufy application and with other hardwaređ§
I have the same problem. It works for a while and then it stopps
Sorry to report that 3.38.2 had the same battery drain issue as 3.38.1. This what I see for the last 24 hours:
For the first few hours after installing 3.38.2 it looked like it had restored battery charging. But from around midnight ,with nothing else happening at the time, the battery level started to nosedive. At midday, I switched back to 3.37.0. As you can see, the battery stayed at 60% for ages and has started creeping back up.
I donât want to try 3.38.3 until I have a window for checking the level without risking it dropping to nothing. Thatâll be around 2pm my time tomorrow (GMT). Hopefully by then the battery will have fully recovered. Iâll let you know how that goes.
Andy
@Linden85 @Lukasz_Kostek
As I mentioned the homey app doesnât do anything with the url other than returning it
But please send a report when it stopped
I assume you already tried to restart the stream? From the dashboard for example? (You can click the stop button )
Also please validate if the url is the same as in the eufy app. Thatâs not something I can check. There shouldnât be a change
@Andy_Henderson will investigate
But i think 3.38.3 should fix it
@Linden85 @Lukasz_Kostek
Iâm combining the message to you both as you are facing the same issue.
I did ask Athom for help on this issue to see if they know anything about the stream timing out
Next to that iâm also running a stream to see if it stops at some point.
Please also check my previous message, maybe we find something which explains this behaviour
-trying pushing the button doesnât work unfortunately.
- url in the eufy app looks the same
@Linden85 thanks. do you have a idea after how long the stream stops?
