Thanks!

@Pascal88 make sure that you try to add the camera and send a report after that
Currently I don’t see a pairing request in the logs

@Pascal88 I see you are trying to add a powered dual doorbell?

You probably have the E340 which is a battery doorbell
If you attach it to the 12v it’s still a battery doorbell
Because the box says so

Try the dual battery doorbell instead

Problem solved! thanks for your support!

Ha Martijn,

When using the Send Voice Message card, I get an error saying “voice doesn’t exist”.
The custom messages are stored in the HB3 and can be played via the app.

When selecting the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd default messages in the card, the card responds correctly.

@Pascal88 yep custom voice messages don’t work for the E340: [Bug]: E340 Doorbell no custom voices · Issue #524 · bropat/eufy-security-client · GitHub

Thanks for the response. Is this still on your roadmap to make work, or should I simply forget about this feature?

@Pascal88 I think the latter
This is really out of my hands. The eufy app can’t be reversed engineered anymore. So these kind of things are really hard to fix or not possible to fix

Background: The original developer of the eufy SDK stopped working on it. So it’s only me who can do some updates. However I don’t have the tools to debug/reverse engineer it

Wow… this scares me, and probably a lot of other users here. Does this mean that the Eufy Homey app has almost reached its end?

The Eufy SDK is not just for the Homey, right? is it originally for Home Assistant and you use it also? What are the consequences of this? Someone else who will take over this?

@Roger_Gorissen at some point yes. But I already mentioned earlier were talking with eufy so hopefully we can get some progress there

Yes it is the same for home assistant and home bridge etc
But development on the SDK is really limited

Oops, missed that part. Haven’t been following this thread for some time, sorry.

So, positive developments towards the cooperation with Eufy? They see the added value of a native Homey Eufy app and are willing to share some knowledge? Hopefully you will be involved in this development!

@Roger_Gorissen let’s hope ifa brings good news :crossed_fingers:t3:

@Marlon_Kerstens this is a English topic please edit and translate your post

Hi @martijnpoppen, many thanks for your response. So, do you think the flow below should do the trick, snoozing (muting) the doorbell chime between certain times and playing it on Sonos instead?

@Baguette64 yes that should do it. if that’s not the case then please send a diagnostic report

I have a question, I have two Homebase 3 models. A doorbell (duo) is connected to one of the homebases. If the doorbell is pressed I want the other homebase to make the doorbell sound as well. I thought this was possible with a flow but it does not work (I do get the notification):

@VictorvanHillo So if I understand correctly you don’t hear the sound on the Homebase?

Correct!

Only on the homebase the doorbell is connected to (and my phone) not the other homebase with other connected devices.
