@Shaba49 I made a small change a while ago for the test version but already tested that it didn’t work

Somehow it does work for you and somebody else :smiley:

Sorry to muddy the waters but I’ve just checked device activity in Homey and I can see:

  • I last reset the app on 17th July
  • There were no notifications until…
  • I start seeing notifications on 23rd July 12:05pm
  • They carry on until 23rd July 18:57 then…
  • Nothing since

I can see from the Eufy app that the Homey notifications matched all the Eufy alerts that day.

Also, I started talking to Eufy about an issue I encountered trying to explore the notification problem. It became clear that they were seeing a different app to the one I was using. In the Google app store I see app ‘eufy-original eufy Security’ which is what I’m using. Apparently there’s supposed to be a new, unified ‘Eufy security app’ but I don’t see it on my Moto G75 5G running Android 15. I tried searching the app store from Windows 11 and got the same result.

Eufy is investigating.

@Andy_Henderson as you can see I didnt expect it to be a fix
Also the eufy app for homey still communicates vis the old way (old eufy security app)

The new 5 in 1 app does things differently but it can’t be reversed engineered anymore. So might be that at some point things can’t be fixed

I’m already checking with Athom and my contact person at Eufy

Btw ‘eufy-original eufy Security’ is the 5 in 1 app

There was a new honey update, wonder if that was the fix…

Managed to look back at the logs,

On 22nd July the Eufy Security app on Homey was updated to v3.36.0

Following that, the below message was logged..
[Eufy Security] - INFO: Currently the Eufy App has a notification issue causing notifications not coming trough in Homey. See: https://tinyurl.com/eufy-homey-info for more information.

On 24th July Homey Pro was updated to v12.5.2 and the alerts started to work.

I don’t see anything which might have fixed this. But might be that a restart of homey caused the notifications to be registered again. But just a guess

Perhaps getting a bit clearer. It’s possible a Homey update triggered arrival of Eufy notifications on 23rd July. I think it’s not a coincidence there was another update early on 24th July which seems to have stopped them. I just restarted the Eufy Security app in Homey and notifications started appearing again.

My guess, too. I suspect it’s nothing to do with the Homey updates themselves, but the restart is triggering something to do with the interface to Eufy.

The Homey Eufy app has been updated, and now the notifications have stopped working again.

Eufy Security has been automatically updated to version 3.36.1. - Jul 30 2025 03:26:40

They were working with v3.36.0. (test, I think)

Please help.

@Shaba49 repAir your devices and select the region you live in that fixes it

In the previous version I created a auto resolve function for the country but that caused issues for some people

So from now on when you add or repair devices you have to select your region yourself

Is the new Eufy NVR S4 Max system already supported?

@Aybee no, it’s just released so it’s not added yet to the Eufy SDK yet.

This is a reversed engineered integration so might take quite some time before it’s added

Normally it takes around 3 months before new cameras are added

When there’s also a new station (Homebase/NVR) it most of the times takes even longer

I have set the region as it was incorrect before, but this has not fixed the issue.

Now the alerts have stopped again.

@Shaba49 to be honest i don’t know if the country change fixed it for you last time, it was just a guess.

could you try another country? e.g. Germany / Netherlands / France / Ireland ?

also did you try to restart the app after changing the country?

Is there a trick to sending an image via the Flowcard Snapshot?

The snapshot function in Homey is activated, but neither the E340 doorbell nor the normal cameras are sending any images.

Also sharing your setup might be a good idea. Doorbell only or doorbell with Homebase

E340 without Homebase doesn’t do snapshots

E340 doorbell, 2 x S100 walllight Csm and a 2C Pro Cam all connected to Homebase 3 and none sends a snapshot
