A few days ago, I bought a Homey Pro Mini. The first thing I did was integrate my Eufy devices. I have a Homebase 3, 3 door sensors, and 3 cameras. I created the secondary account, shared the devices, and installed the app, but the sensors don’t show the actual status and don’t trigger the flows when I open or close the sensor.
Note: When I added the devices in Homey, I got the error “TypeError: Cannot convert null value to object” in AddDeviceSettingItem, in RCTView, in Unknown, in AnimatedComponent(View), in Unknown.
@Matt_Middleton Yes I’m aware, my mailbox is flooded with reports.
Nothing you can do
I tried a lot of things already. Got a account from somebody else to test with
Spent 2 days figuring it out but this seems out of my control. I didn’t build the initial reversed engineered library so it a really hard to understand how it works and fix it
I already asked my partner at eufy if they can help.
@martijnpoppen Sorry for the duplicate post, I’m new to this.
What I understand is that there’s an issue with Eufy notifications not being sent to Homey, and they’re working on resolving it. Is this affecting everyone with Eufy devices?
For now, does this mean I can’t use Homey for this reason? What should I do? Just wait?
Hi, I have the dreaded issue where it is finding no Eufy devices on signing in, I created a separate admin account and have created another account but still the same error. The Eufy device is an E340 doorbell camera.
I am really new to all of this so I think I have generated a code for you to see what I may be doing wrong. Thanks for any help you can give me: 88a49dbc-3493-4ed6-bb05-ee37e547ac83
@Mark_May It looks like you didn’t accept the device on your separate account. Make sure to login on the acocunt in the eufy app, accept the invite and the login to homey
I think have accepted the device as it appears in the separate account and I can change settings etc on it? However I am not certain how I authorise the homey login as I dont get an alert to accept Homey logging in, although I can see it has logged in on the Eufy device app on the logins page. Maybe time for a beer and see what tomorrow brings!
@Mark_May no it’s not needed to authorize Homey.
Only thing i saw was that there were errors on a API.
But it seems like Eufy changed something again, see this already on multiple places around the itnernet. (e.g. people using a older app version and that not showing their devices)
I had to unplug and replug my homey after rebooting it from the app, and it only rebooted thereafter.
After rebooting, cameras were back on and I was happy, until they were gone again.
Next reboot - same same…
Will post a new diagnostic code after reboot and re-loss of the cameras.
can i have my eufy cameras to send notifications only in the night ex 22-06
ex if Homey by geofence now when i¨m home and in daytime i dont want notifications only recording but in the night 22-06 i want notifications on some cameras!
@Kakolle yes, that’s what the security modes are for. So you can create a security mode called sleep for example and change the notifications settings you want in there.
And then via Homey you can change the modes to your liking.
