@Gerald_Delhaisse No worries, glad you found it ![]()
I’m trying it now but things have got worse, probably not due to the test version
When I saw the message that it may be a Eufy issue I decided to install home assistant in docker on my Nas and try to get it working through there, home bridge to be specific as I can’t get the security ws working in docker. Long story short, I failed and had to re-pair all my cameras.
Now I can’t log in with my main account in homey now, I get the same error that I was getting with my secondary admin accounts.
To think all I need it for is to trigger automation when motion is detected ![]()
@Richard_Neal you are aware that HomeAssistant and Homebridge use the same software library as the Homey app is using and I’m one of the maintainers of that library? ![]()
So that would never have worked.
I have no clue what that error might be.
You can try login here and check if you can see your cameras: https://mysecurity.eufylife.com
Well . . . That’s where it gets stranger then
I came from home assistant when my setup died and I wanted something a little less time consuming, so I moved to homey. Eufy security worked fine on my old setup
I ended up installing HAOS on a VM on my NAS last night and it’s working fine, I’ve got the cameras linked into Homey via Home assistant and my automations are working again.
It would be nice to take HA out of the loop but I can live with it
I’ve checked that link and the cameras show up there
@Richard_Neal ok not sure what you need from me in this case
As I mentioned I can’t really help here. And it’s really hard to debug it if you keep changing your setup.
Ideally I still need the cameras directly into Homey, home assistant is a sticky plaster to get my automations working again
What do you need from me to debug?
@Richard_Neal I need a diagnostic report

@Richard_Neal super confusing
There are devices but somehow homey can’t find them
I do see a Chime, Homebase 3 and a S3 Pro
But the eufy plug-in is not returning that to homey
I’ll dig a bit into the code why this happens
Hi,
I have restarted and tested again with v 3.35.4 but still not getting any alerts ![]()

Thanks,
@Shaba49 no unfortunately it’s not working still.
I got access to the account of @CyberSponk . So will use that to test, hopefully i can find a fix
@Richard_Neal are the devices shared via share device or share residence?
Thank you very much .
For this I’m now using the primary account to rule out sharing issues. It’s the same account also used for the home assistant integration
There should be
Homebase 3
2 x S3 pro
2 x E330 doorbells
2 x mini base chimes
@Richard_Neal To further investigate this, would you be ok sharing your credentials with me?
for the eufy account?
@Richard_Neal yes
it wouldnt be an issue but ive hit another snag.
I came home to find one of my cameras offline an hour ago. I tried to re-pair it with my home base but it kept failing. In the end I chose to reset the homebase and re-pair them all.
Now the home base wont connect to the app, ive tried multiple accounts but it wont work.
I dug out an samsung old tablet that hasnt been connected to the internet for several months and used the older version of the app and it paired up straight away but when i checked the account on my phone, the devices werent showing up but were showing up on the eufy security web portal. I updated the app on the tablet and the devices disappeared and now the home base cant be added via the tablet!
@Richard_Neal sorry but I can’t help on this
This sound like a eufy issue , it’s better to contact their support for eufy app issues
The Homey and HA integrations are reversed engineered
it looks like theres an issue with Eufy, starting to see similar issues popping up on Reddit and facebook over the last few hours
