Is it possible to use the light sensor of Eufy Wall Cam S100 in homey (because I don’t have an external light sensor)?
I want to turn on external lights when Eufy Wall Cam recognizes that it is getting dark to turn on light.

Eufycam 3 PRO support?

Have bunch of eufy cameras…indoor pan and tilt, outdoor eufycam 2, and indoor cam 1080p. I was able to successfully add them to homey pro BUT they don’t seem to work with regards to motion sensing. I want to set up flows that when camera senses motion or a person or zone is active but none of those cards seem to work as they are not sensing any people/motion.

I have them in homekit and homekit is sensing the motion. Is this a flaw/limit in the app or a bug or did I just set it up wrong?

I’m trying to use the docker service for snapshots in a raspberry pi because my Synology doesn’t support it. I’m not quite sure how to handle this because your example is for a synology.

Hey Martijn! Thanks so much for making this app!
I have just gotten a doorbell system from Eufy and haven’t yet gotten the time to set it up with Homey. I noticed that Eufy are going to update/redo their app in January. Will your homey-integration still work after this? Will it mess with the way we setup Eufy in Homey?
Since I haven’t connected it to Homey yet, is it better to wait until the update is made?

Martin, thank you for reply but I have done that already. I even logged out of my admin account and logged into the shared home account and set all security modes (home/away/disarmed) to allow video recording and notifications.

For troubleshooting ease, I am just trying to get one camera to work, and it isn’t bound to a home base…and still no luck.

I know Eufy just updated their app so is that an issue? I am completely stumped on this. I get push notifications from the app on phone, but nothing registers in homey.

@Goshawk29 please restart the eufy app in homey and send a diagnostic report after that

No doesn’t matter I’m already running the beta for some months and nothing changes in the way the apps work

Eufy just combined 4 apps in one but there’s nothing different in the protocols

Can you try a repair ? (In homey we app right mouse click and press repair. In the mobile app you can find it in the device settings)
Doesn’t matter which device you try. But only repair one device the rest will follow along

For the E340 doorbell - battery only:

  • Loitering card often disappears. And when it’s visible I doubt that it works (never been able to trigger it)
  • I cannot get the motion detected card triggered. While I do get the blue ring on the doorbell when near it, and it starts recording.
  • The lamp on/off cards also often disappear, and when available do not work. I can get it to trigger the on/off switch in the Homey device UI. But the actual light on the doorbell does nothing. I can get it to work via the official Android Eufy app.

Sorry to bother you with all this. Much appreciated if you could take a look ! And thx for all the hard you put into this!

Edit: I tried a couple restarts (both the app and Homey), repairs and removing/re-adding the device. But without improvement unfortunately.

If you want me to check the report make sure to first reproduce the issues before sending the report.

Thx for the hint about motion detection. I’ll try that out.

Regarding the missing/broken cards: I’ve made the report after I restarted your Eufy app and the cards weren’t showing up anymore. Would you like me to make a report once they are visible again, but not working?
