I have been reading along for a while now and would like to thank you for your continued support and dedication to develop and maintain this app.

I was struggling with the same problem as @Johan_Wagstam. The door sensors would never update in Homey, but worked flawless in the Eufy app.
Through your link with FAQ’s I found that ‘push notifications’ for Eufy in the Timeline portion of the Homey settings was not enabled. After enabling that, the sensors started working. Opening and closing windows are immediately pushed to the Homey app now.
@Johan_Wagstam be sure to check this in the Homey app!

What does the timeline in Homey, have to do with data beeing sent from Eufy to Homey?

I have no idea. After I changed this setting, the sensors started reporting their status in the Homey app. They did not do this before.

Hello,
I am using Eufy S100 Wall Cam.
The motion sensor is reacting if anybody is walking around in front of the cam but in Homey the motion is only detected for 1 second and not the whole time the person is walking around.

I try to combine it with an shelly sensor for turning on/off wall lights.

I am not able to use the value ‘light on’ from eufy because it is only used when light is turned on manually and not ‘motion detected’ because this is only on value ‘tru’ for 1 second.

Do you have ideas how to solve it or is it possible that eufy app on homey will recognize the whole time every motion?

@Michael_Zimmer the homey eufy app only registers the movement for 15 seconds
I can make that configurable though however that won’t be configurable per camera but it will be for all cameras

So I need an outdoor motion sensor to be sure only to turn off light when nobody is there?

@Michael_Zimmer that depends on the motion settings in your eufy camera
If you change that to a short recording it will trigger the motion again. But that’s not something I can control in this app

I didn’t get to test it more that day (life got in the way!), but now I’ve finally got everything up and running. It seems like there was some kind of “ghosting” effect between my regular Eufy account and the separate Homey account I created as per the FAQ.

Hello and almost Happy New Year!

I have just a question concerning snapshots and the 30 per day limit: to bypass this limitation, can I imagine to store them on Google Drive?

I’m using it more and more and now I would like to go beyond 30 of them.
Someone having this same need as me or just already doing something similar?
Any help will be appreciated!

@alfbar the limit of 30 I made to limit the usage of the external server which handles the snapshots. I did increase the limit to 60 so it’s a bit better. But this app has a lot of users if everybody is using the snapshots it will overask the server resulting in sky high costs for me.

So it’s not a homey limit, it’s a limit I made to prevent costs for myself

I knew from the FAQ that the snapshot limit was something fixed by you and I totally understand the limitation and I was not asking to remove it.

My question was more to understand how I could have used an external service to avoid this limit. I was asking about GDrive because I have some space on the cloud and I can use it for storing the snapshots in case it’s possible.

I have seen your explaination for the Synology case and I don’t know how I can do the same from any other service.

I’m sorry for the misunderstanding!

I have an Eufy alarm system with ao a Dual doorbel and home base with AI people recognition. I am using the Doorbel Person (if) card, which should start an activity when a known person is detected at the door. However, the activity is started when any person approaches the doorbel camera. What settings do I need to change to trigger activation with only known people?

@Erwin_Snijder use a logic card from homey to check the tag and check if that tag contains a name

In Q1 there will be a big update and I’ll add a known person detected card
