[APP][Pro] Eufy Security

Am I correct to assume that the HomeBase S380 also isn’t supported (yet)?

@Coolrunnings No that one is supported. It’s called Homebase 3

Will there be support in the (near) future?

@Coolrunnings As said above, it’s already supported. For more then 2 years

Ah, sorry. I thought the Homebase S380 was a newer version of the HomeBase 3. My apologies

No worries, it’s the same. Up till now there are only 3 homebases in total.

Hi Homey support,

I am a new user af Homey and your support, and I hope that this question is placed in the right way and in the right forum? Otherwise, please let me know, thanks

I’m having the exact same battery drain issues as user “molensky”.

I have a Eufy Security SoloCam S220 without a base station.

It has been operating for 2 years with a battery drain of about 1% every day in the wintertime (dark period). But after I connected it to Homey and the Eufy app, the battery drain has been about 5% every day!

The Homey Eyfy Security app is version v3.30.3.

Is there any way around this?

Thanks in Advance.

/Finn

@Finn_Bidstrup unfortunately not
This is what it is the homey app has a active connection with the eufy devices and I can’t really change that

yes I am using two accounts, it’s been working ok for a bit now, must have been an issue at the time, and sorted itself out. (the best kind of issue to have, so long as it doesn’t repeat).

When I add a HB3, would this help in reducing the battery drain for battery/solar powered devices?

@molensky yes

Hi everyone,

I recently set up the Eufy Security integration in my Homey, and here’s an overview of my situation:

  1. Separate Admin Account
  • Due to the way Eufy Security’s private API works, a single email/password can’t be used for both the Eufy mobile app and the Homey app.
  • I created a secondary “admin” account with a different email address specifically for Homey.
  1. Homey Configuration
  • I entered the secondary account credentials into the Homey Eufy Security app.
  • Cameras and other devices appear in Homey, and most of them work as expected.
  1. Issue with Entry & Motion Sensors
  • My Entry Sensor and Motion Sensor show up in Homey but do not update their status.
  • In the native Eufy app, both sensors work perfectly and send notifications instantly.
  • I’ve tried removing and re-adding the sensors in Homey, using the “repair” function, and logging out/in—no luck so far.
  1. Everything Is Up-to-Date
  • All my devices, as well as the Homey apps, are fully updated to their latest versions.
  • The firmware on the Eufy devices is also up-to-date.

Question
Does anyone know why the Entry Sensor and Motion Sensor would show up in Homey but not update their status, even though everything works flawlessly in the Eufy app and all software is up-to-date?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Thanks for the FAQ link! Here’s what I’ve done so far:

  • Created a separate admin account for Eufy (different email/password just for Homey).
  • Restarted the Eufy app in Homey (and Homey itself) multiple times.
  • Confirmed that notifications are enabled in the Eufy mobile app, and they work instantly on my phone.
  • Camera and HomeBase statuses update instantly in Homey without any issues.

However, my Entry and Motion Sensors don’t update their status in Homey, even though they work fine in the Eufy app. Does anyone have any further suggestions or ideas on what could be causing this? I’d appreciate any tips!

Got the motion sensor running after an restart of Homey again, but entery sensor is the same…

@Johan_Wagstam same thing applies make sure to have the notifications enabled.

You are aware that I’m the developer of this app?

Thanks for the clarification—yes, I’m aware you’re the developer, and I really appreciate your support! I’ve triple-checked that notifications are enabled for the Entry Sensor, but it’s still not updating in Homey. Meanwhile, the Motion Sensor started working after a Homey restart.

Is there any way to force a reconnection or refresh for the Entry Sensor specifically? For instance, can I trigger a manual update somewhere in the settings, or send a command from Homey to ensure it reconnects? I’ve restarted everything several times, but the Entry Sensor still won’t update. Any tips on forcing it to sync again would be greatly appreciated!

@Johan_Wagstam its not really a way of syncing
The only way the sensor updates in homey is trough notifications.
Do you receive push notifications from the sensor?

Can you trigger the sensor and send a diagnostic report?

Hello. Would it be possible to add support for the Eufy smart doorknob C33, model T85L0.

Thanks,
Eric.

@Eric_Nelson smart locks are currently not on the planning due to limited availability within the EU (Netherlands)

I’ll check with my contact at Eufy if I can get a sample to see if it can be integrated
