Hey guys. Someone that maybe can help me?

When I want to add one of my Dufy devices (home base 3, s330 and doorbell dual camera) the screen is just loading. Earlier today I could log in but now it’s just loading. I have my extra account as the app says one should do and I have restarted Both the app and homey itself.

Im out of ideas right now…

First of all thank you for creating this app and keeping it updated!

I wanted to use the ‘take snapshot’ card to get a current view from the doorbell. But it seems like the doorbell snapshot is not being updated. Do you have any instructions for getting this to work properly?

As you could hopefully see in the attached screenshot, i did follow FAQ Q14 and I was able to create the flow. However, executing it does not update the snapshot, even though it indicates that it processed succesfully.

@Sander_Muurmans can you explain what you mean with not updating
Do you see the standard image or the previous image?

And which camera are we talking about

Edit: I see a doorbell in the screenshot. But which one? If it’s the E340, then the snapshots don’t work if you didn’t add a Homebase to it

Thank you for the fast response. I keep seeing the standard image, not a previous one.
It is modelnr T8210. I do have a homebase added to it aswell.

That was really cool to see you in the previous podcast.
Great to see how involved you are in the Homey Community.
Time is so precious, it’s still incredible to have people deeply involved to help an entire community.

Then since my last post on this tread couple of weeks ago now, I did a lot of tests with the Eufy App.
I did follow precisely you FAQ, restarting from scratch several times etc.

It still does not work perfectly for now :

  • 1 All snapshots always provides default Eufy image
  • 2 Events are working but most of the time not the last events is displayed but older ones. Sometimes very old ones.

Here is my main lead trying to solve the issues :

1/ For the meantime using same ID / User in both Eufy App on my iPhone and in Homey or different ones doesn’t make change.
So my first question to try solving this issue in particular is :

  • When adding a secondary account should we use : Shared Home or shared Device ? Does this choice make any difference ? I tried both…

Notes : I have the HB3, 4 cameras S330 and 2 video Doorbells E340.
I use these simple test flows to make tests since I can’t includes them in working flows for now.

Hey… I’m trying to make a flow wich will make a snapshot - I have read the forum here and tried to restart the app and also the homebase. I have S330 cameras. One time I had it working - but now I can’t get it to work again…

You can be locked out when using the same account. It’s not a must but it can conflict

For the events. the doorbell press doesn’t update the image. And the image might be corrupted aswell. It’s a really difficult process as we reversed engineered the decryption. so it’s not a 100% guarantee that the image works

@Sander_Muurmans @Davi-d @Guldbaekolsen seems like the server is overloaded and unable to process all the snapshots. :frowning:

Will check if I can scale up…

On December 2 I switched to the 2023 (with a backup). Detection of the Eufy S330 worked until December 3 but has now stopped. What else do I have to do? After restoring the backup, I logged in again to my second Eufy account.

In the app I get a snapshot but I had to renew it manualy.
