@martijnpoppen , Sorry, did not see that post.

Hello, im hopefully you can help me with this problem …

71b061b0-8ada-4fd9-ac9c-bb446ed27078

thanks!!

@Niek_De_Smedt it would be really helpful if you explained the issue

Edit:
If i see the image this is your first instal of a camera so Homey automatically sets everything to false. Thats just how it works

But as said i need some explanation of the issue

if I make a flow, the flow does not work. I think because the settings are turned off, how can I turn them on?

@Niek_De_Smedt i guess you mean triggering a flow??

Check faq Q1 [APP][Pro] Eufy Security - #4 by martijnpoppen - Apps - Homey Community Forum

yes that’s what I mean… all set like it has to be.

@Niek_De_Smedt please explain your issue. What cameras, which flowcard, which Homebase etc. Right know i have no info

Im sorry, i was a bit in a hurry. I just recieved my homey, installed my hue lights, tv, vacuum and eufy (homebase 3, cam 3 and doorbel dual cam)
I want to make a flow chart looking like the doorbel is pressed, the lights in my room go on and of. I used the command if the doorbel is pressed…… but if i press the doorbel nothing happends, if i test the rest of the commands, everything works like they have to. So the problem needs to be at my doorbel. The command dont come true i think

@Niek_De_Smedt please try to restart the Eufy app. As also mentioned in Q1 of the FAQ

Today I migrated from 2019 to 2023 version of Homey Pro. I cannot get the doorbell to work like it did before. I have tried the following in chronological order from 18.00 to 22.00 this evening:

  1. Repair the login (default suggestion by Homey after migration)
  2. Uninstalled/ re-installed the devices (home base2 and 1k doorbell)
  3. Created new admin account
  4. Uninstalled / re-installed the app (and thus re-installed the devices)
  5. Corrected the flows and adding one new test flow
  6. Restarting the app

None of the above has helped. Testing the flows gives the appropriate results, but somehow my flows don’t seem to trigger from the doorbell.

I have the following flows:

  1. When the doorbell is pressed a image and a text should be send to me by push.
  2. When at night the doorbell registers movement, it should send an image to me.
  3. When at night the doorbell registers movement, 3 lamps should turn on.
  4. (New test flow) when the doorbell registers movement at any time, it should send me a text by push, and 1 light should turn on.

@ThoFlo did you already try to restart your Homebase? That might help to fix the UDP connection

That didn’t do the trick…

I’m totally baffled. I can’t figure what I’m doing wrong.

If i do bot misunderstand your setup, then i have exactly the same homebase and doorbell on HP2023, and i do not know where you live, but i have to repair the device and check of the EU-box, then it works great. That is after you have included the doorbell in Homey.

@ThoFlo and your settings are correct like in Q1? [APP][Pro] Eufy Security - #4 by martijnpoppen - Apps - Homey Community Forum

Yes these settings are correct.

I receive the correct notifications through the eufy app on my own device (first account). I checked the settings on the second account and they are exactly the same.

The strange thing is that there is a connection between homey and the doorbell, because when I press the doorbell tile in Homey to turn off the device, it actually turns off the device. I cannot use the device in Eufy, other than after I activiate it again in the Eeufy app, or in the Homey app.

A long press on the doorbell tile in Homey, and selecting the odometer pictogram, shows me the last changes (temperature, movement, person and doorbell press) were registered 15 hours ago. Whilest in the eufy app there are more recent actions registered.

And maybe to be more specific: it’s not only notifications that do not seem to work, but it’s also not tunring on lights… And that;s probably because the doorbell is not sending to the homey device it has registered movement etc.

@ThoFlo not really

the app is divided in 3 ways of communication:

  • Sending commands (on / off) → Local P2P connection
  • Receiving events (motion) → Notification intercept
  • Get camera data (battery etc) → HTTP cloud API

so if one thing works doesn’t mean all the other things work too and vice versa :stuck_out_tongue:

please restart your eufy app in homey and send a report

@ThoFlo can you do the captcha and send a new report after that?
