Yesterday installed my battery powered doorbell. Everything works fine but don’t get a snapshot. Only the picture of eufy products. I just have 1 time get a snapshot from the doorbell itself. I have tried the public and beta app on homey. The eufy app itself works fine on the secondary account. someone has an idea of what is going wrong

It can be 2 things.
- Sometimes the images are not registered correctly when you jusut added an device. A restart of the app would fix that.
- Images are only update on events. Like a doorbell press / motion detection.
Additionally to @martijnpoppen previous statement, I also notice that Eufy itself doesn’t always create a snapshot for the notification.
Today, the app still relies on that notification snapshot.
So if the image doesn’t get updated, have a check if the notification fron Eufy actually contained one.
Having that said; @martijnpoppen Did you had any luck so far with the alternative (direct) snapshot implementation?
@MrBlue Not yet. That’s quite heavy on API requests. So checking that first if that’s going to be possible. At least i can open the stream. I’m also doing that for the quickresponse. That’s why it works without motion

just looked and indeed, after a movement there is a snapshot. probably I had not enough patience.
I had the doorbird before and it worked differently.

- fix for removing quickresponse - wired doorbell
- Add EufyCam 1
New app update (test: 1.11.2):
- Added doorsensor.
I need some people to test this feature as I don’t own the doorsensor

I will test as soon as my homey is back from the repair shop. It died two weeks ago and will probably take at least another two weeks before it’s back.

@martijnpoppen, I tried to add the door sensor in test version v1.11.2 but the app crashed. After restart it immediately crashes again.
Before I tried to add the door sensor I removed the old door sensor which was listed as a camera.
In attached picturee ‘Garagedeur’ is the door sensor.

Hi! I have the problem that at the doorbell push, the trigger 2x send to the flows. What can i do to fix this issue?
I have the same! My sonos 2 times say that someone is at the frond door.

I do recognize this problem. Had this a lot during testing.
It means that you registered twice at the notification service.
You can fix it by going to settings - clear all → login again
@martijnpoppen , do you know if it is or will be possible to add other motion sensors and they will work with eufy security!
And can the Eufy sensor when available as device in the app be used to turn on the lights when motion is detected?
I want to setup several spaces with motion sensors for turning on the lights. Starways, toilet etc.
It would be cool if the Eufy sensors can be used for turning on the lights when the alarm is off and for security when the the alarm is set to away.
