Yes thatâs right.
Strange, can you try a restart of the app?
Did that again but nothing happens, I can still see in the Eufy app that the status of the sensors change, but in Homey they donât.
@ExtraKim and do you receive a notification on your phone from the Eufy app (not homey) when you trigger the sensor?
I have turned off notifications from Eufy in Android settings, since I donât want a notification every time one of my 12 cameras see me walking by ![]()
@ExtraKim oh haha, but are you able to verify that ? ![]()
Because if Eufy doesnât trigger homey would also not trigger it
I turned on notifications in Android, I got six notifications just going to my mailbox and opening and closing itâŚ
With other words, Eufy are getting the notifications.
@ExtraKim can you send a diagnostic report?
@ExtraKim seems like the eufy Library canât find a lot of your devices. Can you do a repair? (ideally the homebase)
I clicked on âRepairâ it âturnedâ for a while and then it got me back to the same page, not sure if it worked or not.
@ExtraKim thatâs good then it worked and all your devices should show: âConnecting to Eufy serverâ
I have noticed that the status change in the logg but not always at the device page in the Eufy app, may this have something to do with it?
@ExtraKim i donât know, but Homey doensât look at that page, only at push notifications
I noticed it also that in the Eufy Homey app the public IP is registered.
So is that the reason why schema switching doesnât work on devices not connected to a Homebase2?
Now Iâm not sure if it ever worked in the past, I was convinced that devices not connected to the Homebase2 did switch security scheme. My memory is failing me.
@edumos for solocams: yes.
Eufy canât resolve the local IP by itseld. Thatâs why you can fill in the IP yourself for those cams and make a override ![]()
after you filled in the local IP there it should work
@martijnpoppen having exactly the same problem here with door/window sensors. Was all working fine until 14 days ago when Homey stopped receiving notifications from these sensors. I can still change the mode of each Homebase from the Homey app but there doesnât seem to be any feedback from Eufy to Homey.
These are the things Iâve tried:
- Checked all notification settings on Eufy app.
- Logged into the Homey app with a different user (also logged in with a diffrent user on the Eufy app so it wasnât the same).
- Deleted and re-added one of the sensors.
- Repaired each of the Homebases and each of the sensors.
- Restarted the app.
- I am still getting the notifications from each sensor via the Eufy app.
- Completed a restart of one of the Homebases from the Eufy app and then a PTP.
- Deleted a sensor from the Homebase and the Homey app and then reinstalled it on both the Homebase and then Homey.
None of these have resolved the issue.
I havenât tried unistalling and re-installing the Homey app as Iâm not sure what the consequences would be for the (dozens) of flows I have linked to the app.
As with @ExtraKim nothing has changed at my end (either in the Eufy app or the Homey app) and if I test run the related flows within Homey they work perfectly.
If the only other option is to delete the app and reinstall it then Iâll do that but I donât want to go through the hassle if itâs unlikely to fix the issue.
Sorry, forgot to include the diagnostics report 8af2d647-3826-4164-a292-2e4fed5af283
@Julian_Isaacson Thanks for the info.
I will check whats wrong, but it be hard to look for the issue without having the hardware available here ![]()
Next to that, repairing per device is not needed, if you repair a eufy device in homey it will repair all of them ![]()
Saves you some time in the future
Removing the app is not needed as the connection form Eufy to Homey is cloud based
