nice!
Not sure how but maybe a glitch somewhere
@martijnpoppen you have another report from me now
@Goliath the notification style is still the same so no difference in the report.
Make sure to change the notification style to something else.
But the person really isnt coming back in Homey. So not much i can do. The event from Eufy just doesnāt have it

I have a problem with my Eufy SoloCam E40.
It seems that, after I add the SoloCam, Iām not able to control it via Homey. None of the changes via homey (such as turn on/off or guard mode etc.) seem to reach the SoloCam.
I also added a homebase via the same account and that is woking perfectly. The account I use for homy has full access to the cam.
Also⦠if I manually start a step in one of the flows for the SoloCam, it looks like it is executed successfully (no errors there).
The status of the cam in homey does even change but it never seems to really reach the Cam and never is updated in the Homey app. All notifications are turned on. Tried to repair via the cam itself (logging in again), restarting the eufy-homey app, restarting cam, and even tried to remove the cam from homey & Eufy and added again and still not working.
Do you have any suggestions?
@maxnuij Yes. Solocams are not working automatically in Homey unfortunately.
I made an update 2 weeks ago which allow you to override the local IP of the solocam. When you do that it will work.
When you go to the device setitngs of the solocam you can update the IP ![]()
@martijnpoppen Thanks for your insanely quick answer!
Maybe Iām getting in the wrong direction but Iām currently on the 3.12.6 version. Only IP setting I can find in the settings of the cam is āStation IPā which, when I open it, is greyed out. Station S/N weirdly enough is actually editable.
@maxnuij which camera do you have. Might be that i missed that field for your type
@martijnpoppen Iāve the SoloCam E40
@maxnuij will check! ![]()

First - thank you for a Brilliant app⦠![]()
Is it posible to get triger the camera to take a picture?
I cant see a way around it.
I was hoping to create a flow that sends me a picture in the morning - to tell the weather at my home.
When adding picture - it only shows an old picture.
Hey @Boerre
Only if a event happened so like motion/person detection. Creating snapshots is not possible with the Homey integration.
(it requires FFMPEG, which is not possible to run on Homey)
ok - Thanks for the reply
@martijnpoppen Works as a charm! Thanks a lot for the support!!
Do you know if there are any issues with the doorsensors?
I can see the activity in the Eufy app but nothing happens in Homey.
@Valentin_Ciopei did you enable push notifications?
See [APP][Pro] Eufy Security - #4 by martijnpoppen - Apps - Homey Community Forum Q1 for the setup
that I missed. Thanks
A question, if you know, Martijn.
I have one Homey Pro 2019 and one Homey Pro 2023. I have installed Eufy on both.
On my āoriginalā Homey, the integration continue to work as normal, i.e. the homebase status in Homey switches status according to the security mode in the Eufy app.
However, in my new Homey, nothing happens. I can add all devices and so forth, but the status/mode on the homebase in Homey doesnāt react at all when I switch security mode in the Eufy app.
Is this a known limitation? At the end of the day, I will remove the old Homey, but during my migration, I thought that this would be a good thing to have.
(I have tested with separated Eufy accounts - doesnāt work either.)
