Tip: you might want to restart the app after pairing all your devices. Theres a bug that the events are not coming in just after pairing devices

For the keypad, currently theres no way to interact with it. Maybe the battery status in the future but thats all. Motion sensor doesn’t report anything unfortunately

You mean the Homey app itself? Or do you mean this specific app within the homey app? If the latter is what you mean, how would I do that?

@martijnpoppen I stand corrected: Wired doorbell 2k: push image works, however sometimes sends old images (e.g. from night before).

@RogerSt yeah sometimes the image cannot be decrypted.

Also looks like there’s a limit on the image API from Eufy. But not sure about that yet. Will check

I have also had a problem with old images on my cameras. My solution was changing Power Manager to Optimal Surveillance :). Now everything works well :).

As I’ve written before - awesome app and (if possible) better support.

Just installed HomeBase 3 and migrated all units and now it’s time to play with the ai in homey - but the login is slow (unable to “re-sync”).

I saw this issue couple of weeks ago.
Seems like your extra account doesn’t have the devices in it.

What you can do:

  • re share the devices with your extra account
  • then login with EU account (thats the correct one)

Lovely… took some time to test due to dinner and a movie.

Now that I’m playing actions I noticed that the person detection (local ai identification) doesn’t work on my doorbell :cry:
Why is only the dual camera doorbell supported? And any plans on widening the support?

Thats only supported on the dual doorbell or a Homebase 3 connected device. Everything which is possible in your Eufy app is also possible in the Homey app

Yes, now I’m back on track and all eufy-components are up and running.

I just got the homebase3 but only have the T8210 connected (not the dual camera). That combination should work, or?

Haven’t had too much time to play around with the eufy-app yet (just seen that all cameras have been able to see a face and name the face).

When I try and use the “person detected” card I’m not able to say which person (I’m not allowed to write any name).

Yes that combination should work. I would suggest restarting the app theres a small issue with events after pairing.

And also make sure that you push notifications are enabled

For support the Homey app adds a lot of functionality which the official app cant do. So almost everything should be supported :wink:

Everything is enabled and rebooted but I’m still not able to add persons…

@Stjepan_Siljac did you add the persons in the official app?

Thats not something you can do in Homey unfortunately

There are two face that I’ve been training on today and managed to get set to “familiar faces”

Can you enforce some person detection…like standing in front of the camera and send a new report after that? Then i’ll check the logs
