Anyway, I have more persons added and it refuse to detect my kids…and can’t even learn it. Same for my wife…but for me yes, plenty of detection:-)))

No this is my neighbor. His name is Marcel. As I said almost 100% recognition. At this moment I have 12 persons with a name in the app and I am very satisfied about the recognition. I let Homey say who is at the front door so I don’t have to pick up my phone to look.

@martijnpoppen seems to work (for now).
First command took about 30s, after that they became instant.
Let’s see how they hold up 
(I did had to “Repair” by the way before they started to respond.)

And now when I do the same testing again, it works just fine. Then again app has been updated to 3.10.7 in between.
So I’ll keep an eye on it for now.

I want to buy the doorbell dual 2 pro, with HB3 and maybe one s330. but now that I read all these posts I do doubt a lot.
So when someone is at the door and presses it, I can’t get a image from my doorbell? is this a bug or for always now?
an other question, how quick is the doorbell message in homey, i want via face recognition to unlock the door.
it would be a shame if I bought all of it for €600+ and it won’t work properly with homey because eufy is changing his api,
because I want it to work good with homey. Otherwise I might as well buy another more affordable brand without homey intergration.
@Sharkys got your report about the old images. Seems like they could not be decrypted. will have a look a that. but seems like it’s not flawless yet

It’s not really a bug, it was never a feature 
But to be clear. This Eufy integration is reversed engineerd. So there’s no support from eufy whatsoever. Whenever they patch something we have to figure out what is patched and how to fix that.
Depends on your network.

So if i read it correctly above, you only get images from motion events? With both doorbell and eufy 3 cam? So it think there wont be a image in the future when you press the doorbell function? Otherwise you would have implemented it right away right?
But when I press the picture it does not play an actual image? Like for example onvif does or other cameras with snapshot function.

@Robin_De_Lange sometimes it worked. and before the patch it seemed to work quite well for some people. S hopefully we can find a way to fix that again
No unfortunately snapshot is not possible with Eufy

@martijnpoppen hate to report this, but since of yesterday the Solocams (Solar in my case) have once again stopped responding to Homey.

@OH2TH the press doorbell image should work with the latest app version

@Heula found the issue. The problem is that some image can’t be decrypted and then it doesnt update the image resulting in sending you the previous image.
I’ll check if we can fix that

Btw, I wonder if there is some rate limit - eg. today I’m getting again updated images, but it’s true it’s after Homey regular restart…
