@martijnpoppen first time it fails, it reloads the page and is asking for a Recaptcha (which didn’t show on the first page load).
When also filling in the recaptcha it works.

I have an error message on the Homebase in Homey saying:
ā€œHomebase Verbinding mislukt (Captcha vereistā€

However, there is no ReCaptcha on the Eufy login page in Homey

Hi Martijn, I have strange issue - after S380 to the account, few hours later I got captcha required.
Now when I’m signing in ā€œHomeyā€ EUFY account, eg. on page https://mysecurity.eufylife.com, capt-cha is required every time ;-(
When trying to repair account from Homey, I got spinning wheel after entering credentials - no request to enter captcha.
I noticed we can select EU and US region, but on https://mysecurity.eufylife.com there are countries, not sure if this is somehow related ?

I think the issue is in the (Re) Captcha.
Seems to be a new security feature Eufy started to roll out.
A quick Google search reveals more people started to complain about this starting in april this year.

Thanks for sharing, I was not aware of that. They are rolling nonsense stuff :frowning: Btw, captha appeared even before 2FA…another nonsense:-(

Instead I wonder if EufyCam 2 can’t be forced powered down anymore and if Sync button on EufyCam 3 will not delete all recordings without warning :warning:. Also that local image tag, why it’s not user configurable …knowing that, not sure if I would choose them again.

I hope Martijn will be able to find a way around this.

Probably something goes wrong with the captcha. But its all implemented in the Homey app.

Captcha is not something new. Its already there for 6 months

I was able to perform maintenance, the captcha load took aprox. 20-30 sec but this time appeared and after another 1 min all devices went online. So indeed, test version is broken.
Diag. sent if needed.

Shows the captcha after a while and after filling it in it is able to login:

@Heula strange. I made a custom implementation inside the Homey app. Tested it with a spare homebase and it worked. Can you check if the volume is up on the Homebase? :stuck_out_tongue:

@martijnpoppen it works, although I’m sometimes getting a 30000ms timeout error when trying to repair/log in.
Even though im getting the error, it seems to continue to work in the background regardless and reconnect the devices.

Both log in and setting the solocams security modes seem to be working and fixed.

Amazing work!

@Kuijkens yeah the timeout seems a Homey thing. I’ll have to check that (someday :stuck_out_tongue: )

Hi @martijnpoppen , checked the volume and that was/ is at maximum level.
This test flow runs fine but no sound is coming from the homebase 2

@Heula i’ll come back on that later. Guess i have to enabled extra debugging to check this :confused:

This worked before so strange that is doesn’t now.
Will implement some debugging later

But will first focues on the camera images as we have a break through there :wink:

Yes I can confirm. No chime on Homebase 3 either.
But camera images would be indeed a nice win :pray:
